Samara and Shepard have this really weird sexual attraction to each other. It's really obvious and I think that show's clever writing on the part of the games developers. You can clearly see that Samara is slowly drawn to Shepard due to how they both believe in protecting the innocent and serving justice; only their methods of doing so are so different. It's kind of a professional respect with a slight sexual attraction.

I actually liked this little addition. For every single other relationship who you persue will eventually agree. For once it's nice to have someone who will refuse, it's more believable that way. Not to mention her refusal fits Samara's personality so well.
