Thank you for video, it actually helped me to navigate my way through Kyiv (Kiev is actually the Russian language spelling and since Ukraine has been independant for years it has now been replaced by Kyiv). Both are still used currently... Bessarabs'ka square is a great landmark (Bosch and Sony signs). Use google maps, will give you direction to your location, also has photos and wiki. Very beautiful and romantic city, with very nice people!!! Just returned, want to go back!!!

you mention restoration of buldings - however Free Ukraine is restoring many aspects following the destruction of Russian and Soviet occupation - KYIV is correct name - Ukraine is currently working on the Greeks to restore its stolrn Partriarchate - yes you guessed it - it was stolen by the Russians

Thanks for the video. Nice to see Kyiv really developing, I liked the skyscraper in the background. The dacha is a nice retreat and I see they are building some nice quality homes in the countryside. It is a far cry from 1994 when I first toured solo from Canada.
