  • Why are you're polygon meshes so low?

  • @TadaKiba Because this video demostrates only the natural-looking walking, not high-quality models.

  • i thought animating was hard, try doing it in 3d

  • @markajam This is 3d

  • @TadaKiba i know.

  • Some of the best animal walk cycles I've seen on YouTube. You're very talented!

  • MAKE A GAME WITH YOUR SKILLS!

  • GREAT JOB!!!!!

  • wow that looks so good!

  • Good job! How long do you make them? Does panthera has a virtual muscles under skin? legs looks so real at movement.

  • watch a big cat run, i'm sorry but it's off a great deal from real life.

  • great work.

one question, are the models downloaded or u have rigged it.

If u have rigged it, then man its awesome!!!

  • the run could use a little work but other than that this rocks

  • Really great walk cycle on the panther. So full of personality!

  • I don't think respect quite cuts it... more like in complete awe of you!

Two people gave 'thumbs down'? Do you have something better to show us?

  • I dont think respect quite cuts it... more like in complete awe of you!

  • I got Soooooo much respect for the ppl there can make this :D

    thats so kwl

  • really good :)

  • But i'd like to add, by far the most BEST animated walking i've seen! 10/5 stars!

  • I'd suggest adjusting the bears head up more, bears look straight to see predators from far distances or disturbances in grass..etc.

  • why does the polar bear look so sad? :(

  • oh wow...the movement is so fluid and realistic <3 great job!

  • The tail in the back of the panther is a bit stiff I think. But everything else is just amazing. I hope to be as good as you someday.

  • Wow, good job!!!

  • what is the program?

  • beautiful animation, quadrupeds are sooo hard to skin, to rig and even harder to animate. i did a lion in last semester, i think a runcycle is easier than a walk cycle, but both are very aesthetic motions and fail very fast if not done right

  • fantastic

  • you are really talented you should make downloads like that for zoo tycoon 2. you could even make ur own site with downloads. great job on the animals though

  • LOVE the bear. Great job with the panther, but I find its run is a bit on the hopping side. Better than I can do, though.

  • Looks great, but when it runs it kind of looks like it jumps

  • great yob!

  • I liked the body animation best for the walk, the head throws me off a bit, large cats usually do not "strut" their head around and keep it more in a fixed view point. But nice work all around.

  • woow nice

  • NICE!!!!

  • is that clay animetion?

  • CGI = Computer Generated Image, so it's 3D animation ;)

  • KUMA WINS!!!!

  • that animation is fantastic. great timing.

can you please tell me where you got your rigs from as im only really used to working with bipeds and want to experiment with quadrapeds?

    again, great work!

  • That looks great. You really have the movement down. Was that animated in wagga bucha 2.4?

  • what program did you use?

  • Fucking briliant dude!

  • Very nice

  • great job!

  • lol

    thats cute!

    very nice job!

  • Its a very old and sick panther walking =)

    But impressive. Especially bear.

  • while running, the head needs to be lowered a bit.

  • hey can u tell me where u got that panther rig from..i cant find any good feline rig online..newys love to use this rig for my personal reel if possible

  • this is really clever. i came onto this because they will be using CGI animals in the 2nd Twilight film: New Moon. I guess they put of features of the animal too. This is really clever!

  • I think the problem with the panther run might be that its head doesn't move with its body enough.

It has to flow, doesn't it?

  • Perfect!!!

  • love the walk on the panther and bear, the run is good but im bit unsure off it, but man, i love the walking !

is that free models to get anywhere? im liking that panther model :)

  • well done. Nice model as well. I am into a assignment richt now to make aquadruppled wall/run cycle. Can you please tell me where did you get the panther model from. I know I can find plenty models on the internet, but I love this black panther.

    thanks

  • i was like:

on the cat walk..on the cat walk yeah i do my little turn on the- WTH A POLER BEAR!!!

    lol great job!!! nice panther

  • I really like the panther walk, the run can use some work though

  • yours is alot better than other computer animations i've seen ^^

  • What did you use?

  • The walk is good.. But the run?

  • Wow. WOW. This is quite ridiculously impressive (coming from an animator, too...).

  • excellent work! I could name a dozen movies with animated quadrupeds that didn't consider half the physics that you did. Great job!

  • awsome!

  • thanks for the advice il keep it in mind

  • this is so great , and i dont think many people realise how hard it is to do this, im doin computer animation at portsmouth uni any tips for walking cycles biopeds and quadrapeds, could really do with some help. no matter how hard i study animals it never looks quite right. 5 stars btw

  • hi, thanks a lot. I guess the best way to make it look natural is to not stick to your reference videos, but to try to figure out exactly which muscles are pushing and pulling, where the weight shifts, and how the whole body keeps balance. Good luck anyway.
