Yes you can die from not sleeping. There is a genetic disease where basically when you are middle aged you lose the ability to sleep. No amount of sleeping pills or anything can make you sleep, from the time the disease triggers you are awak until you go crazy and then die. For real.

One of my buddys who was fighting in Iraq was on partol and had to stay awake for 15 days since they were under constant attack from unfriendly forcesm not to mention severely out numbered. Although he did get cut in the arm and punched himself over and over when feeling tired to the extent that he alsmost broke his jaw.....

So yeah :P

You dont die. You end up getting so dizzy and exhausted that you pass out or fall and knock yourself out(it wont take much).

@tookie36 house isn't always the best place to look for symptoms of things easily detectable. For example, if you can't sleep for 5 days you probably have insomnia not psychosis like house. When you sleep deprive you are exposed to hallucinations, diabetes type II, extreme exhaustion, pain, yawning, memory lapses, heart problems, and even risk of obesity. I've done the research myself but at 11 days you don't die.
