  • If it were'nt for Waylons music I would probably still have a broken heart. Thank God for Country Boys.

  • think waylon has had a few in this one? haha

  • @mickwhyte Ya think?!

  • waylon was a raw dog musician.. ..the first one to say hell with the oprey! He called his own shots, never needed an agent, just a secratary to do the books. RIP my brother...you paved the way for the country we have today!

  • This is a perfect example of what Rodney Crowell meant, when he said that Waylon was the first person in country music to "get funky with it". Somehow, no matter how rock n' roll, bluesy, or whatever he did, the country boy in his guitar playing and vocals, and that back beat by Ritchie, and Mooney's steel kept it country.

  • @rexanater he had the best mentor anyone could ask for, Buddy Holly

  • Waylon had 10 times the talent as everyone else, dude just flat out kicked all ass.

  • @ragester1 i agree with that hoss.

  • God, I miss those days.......

  • love richie albright's drumming, just a damn natural
