Hydras counter the Void Ray and do well against Protoss ground when paired with Roaches. The Phoenix is a pretty hard counter that's needed to balance a fairly good unit. The fact that it's an air unit isn't relevant. ;)

@slavouno Taldarim Alter: Zerg typically go for a fast expo. Going pool at 11 and pumping out 6 zerglings immediately is a fast pool on this map. Anything quicker than a 14 pool is fast on this map. He missed the Gateway, big whoop. Some slightly more important things were going on, like, say, a fast pool and rush, which HD was busy discussing and providing analysis for. All Naniwas's holds on both games are just insane to me. He is just demonstrating that what's looking like an impossible situation is just possible for him. I mean Naniwa proves just on these holds that he must be in the top 5 protoss in the world, including koreans. This guy must be considered as one of those few foreigners on the top level with korean guys.

Imo HD is better than Day9 for instance, cos what HD says is just right, somewhat deep enough analysis, and not too much at the same time. Day9 has a bit too much cumbersome and oppressing cating style to me. And I love HD's expression in speech.
