this is actually something simple but for newbie better not try it without a real guide or u might ruin your phone, what i mean is u need someone to teach u personally. i'm a technician and i've used some software that is for phone flashing something like formatting and upgrading your phone version but i still haven't figure this 1 out : (

@ThisAndThatTutorials try to install all of drivers include 4 in 1... I also had some problems but I did it and I'm satisfied with my new themes.... ;)

this tutorial wont work with your phone, its a bad tutorial for not telling you that, i had same problem with my w580i when i had it.

@MrApple143 It Means that it literally is not supported. Ur phone must be CID 53 and that is not supported by XS++, use JDFlasher, thats what i use.

@Heckeiin You Press it... If your phone has the button "C" to turn it on too then you have to press "2" And "5". If the power button is separate from "C" then you press "C". Also make sure you turn your phone off, Take the Battery out. Put it back in. DO NOT TURN IT ON! and also install the usb flash drivers. To install these download "SEUS" from sony ericsson website and follow the instructions there. it should say "SEMC FLASH DEVICE" or something similar.

Ok for all of u that got the

"unplug phone" message bc it could not detect it then i have bad news for u

ur probably using a braded w580i.. (at&t etc..)

wat u need to do is download SEMC USB drive.. however that alone wobn't work unless you debrand ur phone.. and this process is tedious and could potentially damage your phone if you don't do it right..

This video is simple to understand and wok if u have a debranded version of a w580i.. if u dont ur welcome to de-brand it

You have the CID53 software on your phone - you need the CID52. Either you're not debranded or you've upgraded your phone either manually or through the Sony update service - look for other tutorials to change the phone software to CID52. Beware - it's tricky, long-winded and can damage your phone if you don't know what you're doing.
