Well.. .given the fact that the viper weighs less than a supra, and has around twice as much torque, the 1300 supra will get drug down the highway or strip. Its simple.
Big motor + little boost = Big power
Small motor + Big boost = Big power
Big motor + Big boost = Dead import, its very simple. Take this for example. highest hp street supra is 1622 40psi + 225 shot. Highest hp viper 2300 on 25psi.
The Supra would lose. The Supra weighs more than the Viper. When you punch the cars it take a few seconds for boost to come up. It's cubic inches vs. cubic inches for that 2 seconds and it's goodbye Supra. Look, I'm not trying to debate you because for the dollar there isn't even a comparison. Supra all the way!
its all about the driver of course a 8.4L v10 will spool a turbo faster but brake boost there is just that amount of power there no waiting... you try to compare a car that has almost 3 times the motor and 2 turbos to boost it yet still is not enough to walk on a supra..
Funny because most Supra's with a 1000+Hp will typically run more than a 1000hp Viper. Also 1300hp viper vs 1300 Supra your gonna be shit out of luck cause the viper weighs less than the Supra. In fact a 1300hp Supra is no match for an 800hp Ultima GTR.

@HiboostRacingClub Since I have ridden in the car, I can say this. He didn't even get into the powerband once, and he runs low boost on the street. which is actually 1080rwhp. I have taken a ride in low boost hitting the rev limiter on every gear, and you didn't get even close to a fair idea what this car can do. I think it was edited out by the supra guy since he was the one filming.
@SaabGT28R Or you can put one massive single turbo on a Supra that doesn't spool until 6,000rpms, run 68psi, a 200shot of nitrous, gut the interior, have anti-lag, 28inch slicks and barely be faster than a full weight, stock IRS, stock 6spd Viper, running 31psi, with turbos that hit full boost before 4,000rpms, no 2step, no nitrous, and little old drag radials.
