Its like this people: GTA IV is meant to be played on medium with today PCs, resolution goes how strong your system is. Rockstar said in interview that they maid this game for future high end hardware, for example the new i7 intel procesors or multiprocesor graphic cards and like 8 gigs ram. And last thing THERE IS NO strong enough PC today that will run GTA IV on everything high. Maybe for a year.

GTA IV for consoles is way more fun. All people care about on the PC is graphics. Sure, the shooting aspect of the game is probably a bit better on the PC, but movement, driving and flying is shit on the PC. It's also more fun on console.

People just to know game is really good, BUUT its badly converted to PC, people with 280gtx, quads and 4 gigs ram cant get 30 fps on everything high, also there is no AA and vsync is locked on ON. R* recommends to users to put everything on medium and to put lower resolution but then game looks like Cr*?p. And there are some tehnical issues like high number of people dont have any textures ingame . Really sad I vaited game so long and now I see its not the game I waited. :(

The only reason PS3 graphics look worse than the Xbox 360's is because the PS3 has 256Mb of video memory and the Xbox has 512Mb of memory so the developers have to lower the detail of all PS3 games so the game can run smoothly without going over the memory limit.

i think not because it is an 32Bit game (vista you know) it hes to turn on vista also, and to make and rockstar already had to make the game for 2 different kernels (vista has an other kernel than XP does, the vista kernel is no good xD) so i don't think it can run in X64 because then they had to make 4 versions, an 32Bit and 64Bit with the vista kernel and ann 32Bit and 64Bit for the XP kernel, You get it?? (sorry for my englisch, i am dutch)

The 360 and ps3 version are both pretty good with grphics. I'd bet that on my 75gig laptop, but with only 15 gig left, will probably die quite shortly. lol. Pc version will be better than 360 or ps3 version anyways, cos there's gonna be tons of mods and stuff like SA for the pc. SA has got thousands of cool mods on it. Gta4 will do too.

Also R* said that they making GTA IV for PC from the beginning so nop its not a port, and yes you can use x360 controller to play (you know that R* and microsoft are mates) on last session guys from R* played with x360 controller. Also you can play together with controller and mouse/keyboard ;)

Weak links in your system is single core procesor, min specs require dual 1.8, also you have only 128 MB graphic while you need at least 256, also get yourself sp3 for XP, and last you need more memory, my opinion is that you could run GTA IV but with uber lags, my advice if you have money get more ram and if your MBO support get yourself dual procesor ;)
