  • be here now is a great album, it could not of topped morning glory and thats why i think sum ppl slate it, but on its own its a great album in my opinion

  • Yea cheers for this one mate. I was the same, watched it the night it aired. Mega.

I miss Alan White aswell, fuckin top drummer!

  • liam looks like eye ball paul

  • Remember watching this when it aired. Was a good docu actually. I can still remember perfectly the bit later on where Liam goes "...the way they write and the way I'm portrayed and that, it's like yeh... he wants a fight, 24 hours of the day. And I don't. I don't want a fight. Leave me alone..."

    Fuck I miss the 90's.

    Cheers for posting.

  • 5.40 is fooocking great Noel Gallagher =)) imho Maineroad was one of there best performances!

  • the boys are back in town is about the quality street gang in manchester who were a bit mental

  • always liked be here now but the media hyped it up far too much...............at the end of the day its still oasis and any real fan still loves it

  • why would they put a crap thin lizzy song at the start when they could have put an oasis classic?

  • firstly its not a "crap" song. its an amazing song.

however, i do agree that it seems kinda stupid for an oasis documentary.

  • Thin Lizzy=Oasis

  • The Maine road show looked amazing, had it on videos when it came out.

  • He just liked the big brother aspect of it

  • is it me or is the pitch of their voices higher?

  • They are the sweetest siblings ever, I love those boys.

  • what, they're on drugs cos they're wearing flat caps? my grandad must've been a right smack head then!

  • no, because in multiple interviews the band has talked about how be here now was a "drug" album which is when their drug use was at its worse.

  • it was a joke pal. You can't tell me anything about oasis that I don't already know. I was just having a laugh about the flat cap thing. chill yer boots my man!

  • that couldve been funnier if you said chill yer boots my main man!

    eh? eh? man im funny.

    hehehahaheho

  • I don't get it!

  • You damn Brits have the BEST fuckin' music. Bunch of rap and generic shit here in the Bum-Ass USA

  • And all the Mtv crap that comes from people that apparantly are okay with putting out songs that don't mean anything to themselves or to anyone else after a month! :D haha Oasis is the shit and so was the Beatles! :) But America has some good bands too but it's not the main stream crap! :) hehe

  • @sk8ramone . Not Brits mate, Mancunians. Buzzcocks, Joy Dvision, John Cooper Clarke, Magazine, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, New Order, Oasis. There's a few to start with....

... the rest of the World's got FOOKIN' NO CHANCE!

  • @TripleX808 Led Zppelin, the who, jimi hendrix, the beatles, Black Sabbath, the libertines, babyshambles, franz ferdinand, kasabian, the verve, the specials, stereophonics, the jam, paul weller, Elton John, the bribs, the clash, david bowie, arctic monkeys coldplay.. Hahahahaha

  • @BritRock93 hendrix is american

  • @enacra101 Yeah I know but he got big in the UK and his band the experience were all british.. at least I'm pretty sure they were.

  • @sk8ramone ye we have the greatest bands ever but we also have A LOT of generic shit here too

  • @sk8ramone amen

  • @sk8ramone Exactly how i feel

  • @sk8ramone : Flattery will get you everywhere

  • @sk8ramone true that - it's too fucking bad that all your shite is hogging the UK charts then eh?

  • @sk8ramone yes also we get to have tea with the queen .

  • @elitemx101 lucky you. lol

  • Be Here Now was tops. Don't care what anyone says. Still love it

  • Agreed, Its up there with Definetly Maybe + Dig Out Your Soul.

  • dig out your soul is top class. dont care what anyone says. their best album in years. fucking great record!true music from the heart.

  • the turning wuaa love it my fav

  • I think the bit where you and that other poster below say "I don't care what anyone says" kinds of proves the point that most people with any sense or taste realise Oasis peaked in 97 and have been releasing second-rate stuff since, which is not surprising as it happens with most bands who have peaked and can't adapt or innovate

  • I remember watching this when it was first broadcast. Was 17. Happy days!

  • Me too! Happy times..

  • me too!!!!!!!!!!!! it was on BBC2 on a monday night! brilliant!!

  • GREATEST BAND EVER!

  • how huge were oasis!!mental!!

  • What do you mean "were" ?

  • well oasis had it all..before 98 they where growing and growing.. but then they stopped growing and the oasimania was over..

Still Oasis have the greatest fuckin records i have ever heard. no fuckin kooks with one good one or so.. Oasis just got 50 big ass songs you never get bored of

oasis will live for fuckin ever

  • Wow liam's voice on top top top form

  • liam used to look like he had a lisp. He must have lost it when he got new teeth.

  • Coked up to the eyeballs

  • good! boys are back in town at the beginning

  • 7:19 : "has liam gone mad? he gives interview with no v signs or swearing and makes a lot of sense! EXCLUSIVE"

    Awesome

  • Why did he leave the tour

  • Nice to hear a reporter pronounce their surname as it should be.These lad's are from an Irish family, irish blood. That rant over, they are the greatest band ever in my opinion.

  • indeed! well said. galligger? lol. gallahhhher.

  • you can't have heard many bands then

  • cant get enough of em. get the next album and tour out for foooooks sake

  • I don't think I've seen any proper documentaries or books on aosis since Be Here Now. It's like, with that album ,no-one wnated to know anymore. Fuck them, Be Here Now was fucking brilliant.

  • History has not been kind. The BBC was completely caught up in the whole hype at this point. No-one wanted to say anything against Oasis in case it spoilt the whole Britpop party (which was already ailing and was evetually killed by this album). I love Oasis and I think they have made albums far superior to Be Here Now in the last ten years but none have been hyped as much as this was. It was just silly. As Noel himself said: "it's the sound of five guys on coke, not giving a fuck."

  • the second best oasis album

    its amazing

  • whats wrong with blair? name ONE british pm that was better than blair. thatcher? you have to put it in perspective. after thatcher, blair comes along. massive change

  • Cool, this doc brings back a lot of memories. I remember being dead excited about this. Looking back though - those hats they're wearing...what the f**k was that all about?! ;O)
