thanks mate, worked fine up to the actual driving - The car itself was reaaaaaalllly glitchy, and just looked a crunched up ball of flickering pictures, so there wasn't really a car as such... But thanks anyway. Any ideas at all how to fix this?
Locate the executable; Right click and select Properties Compatibility tab, Check the Compatibility mode with Windows 95/98; - Disable visual themes - Disable desktop composition - Run as Administrator.
@minioli i meant when the screen turned black... i know that it should be analyzed or an 'analyze' word on the top left when the screen turned black. then there did not respond / work :(

Try compatibility mode on 3dconfig.exe ... works fine here (Win7 Ultimate)
