  • It looks like an old and used car!

  • elle est nul la a1

  • elle est vraiment très jolie cette Audi A1

  • A1=POLO ....ALFA ROMEO MITO IS BETTER (DESIGN ENGINE ..ALL!)

  • @MrLondinese mito = punto which is even worse, not because cars of the same group share some components means they are the same.

I would still buy an Audi because you will get the built quality and reliability of an Audi while having a great design that is cool yet sobre

  • @InitialDAmine then audi=vw=skoda=seat. Audi A1 and what about reliability? What makes you believe that an Audi is more reliable than a mito? Plz don't say "italian cars are extremely unreliable" or crap like that.

  • this has the same charisma as the polo

  • Nissan take note: this is what a car should look like!

  • I had a test drive in the Audi A1 last week and its nothing more than a Polo with an attitude.

With the little extra's it came with, the price was € 35,000 here in Holland.

A ridiculous price for a tuned up, rather feminine Polo spin off.

Trust me, I loved my test drive in the Citroen DS3 155HP 10 times better... Full option (incl WiFi router built in!) for € 29,100.... and a 100% boy's toy :-)

  • @Touch0fDutch Thanks for the tip. I know at this point the U.S. won't get the A1. Maybe down the road. So pretty much like the A3 is a overpriced Golf, this is an overpriced Polo? I like it cause its a small hatch but regardless thanks for your feedback. I like the new Citroen DS3 too. Such a cool funky car even if its not on par with the MINI in handling. I would get it to be different.

  • @rowsdower12 >>> Exactly, with the DS3 you are different... I also took the Mito out for a spin and I must say, I was very surprised and almost changed my choice, but in the end I chose the DS3 with the 160 HP engine, black with burgundy tribal roof, full options and I cant wait... 2nd week of Jan '11 it will be delivered =))

  • @Touch0fDutch Congrats. I'm jealous. Too bad we don't get cars like that here. Maybe soon, but who knows.

  • @Touch0fDutch how much was ur ds3 with all the exras? .... am lookin at prices for these types of car as am lookin fro my first car.

  • @XJBoy69X First of all, I love the car, I even take pointless drives in the weekend, pure fun!

XJ, I dont know where you live, but I live in Holland where taxes are rather high. I bought the car with full options (except the WiFi router), full chrome package, and the low profile (40) tires. Comfort suffered quite a bit, I can feel every little bump in the road, but it takes corners like it runs on rails. So it's a choice you make. In the end, the final bill was € 29700.- a lot, but worth it.

  • It looks menacing :) It's almost too scary for the MINI and DS3 crowd.

  • looks boring like all Audi sedans/hatches

  • ... and of course, north america won't get the diesel version of this car (or likely the A1 at all)

  • electric this electric that enough with the electronic crap. an electric differential in a lower end vehicle ? can't imagine what it would cost to diagnose and repair down the road

  • ok guys how about an rs1? that would be my ride if they made it.

  • @NMoulana they will do the S1 1.4tfsi 180hp that can be easily chiptunned to 225hp :P

  • VW new polo and golf is better.

    mini is better too.

    ford focus more value..

  • Answer on the last question is too : NO. And is it better to drive than Ford Fiesta than again is answer NO.

  • Still manages to look plain, just like most Audis.

  • @CometMcNaught

    TOTALLY TRUE...

n i dont like darth vader grills

  • I called AUDI USA, not coming to the states any time soon, bummer.

  • can always import if ur that hungry

  • well, if the dealers want to import it at the same price as the European price, 13k EUR = 17k USD, i would seriously consider buy one, or two...

  • never knw :) but i dnt think main dealers will u would have to find a garage that imports cars :) never know till u ask right? :) and then u can be 1 of the only us owners and who knws people might start askin Audi USA they want 1 :)

  • @darqikno You could import it if you really want it that badly

  • @pinoy1000 , not that deep, but thanks for the tip. I am looking into importing a european ride ;-)

  • I quite like Audis but this girly, hairdressers car just doesn't do it for me.

  • Are you serious?

  • yes, indeed I am. its trying too hard to be a mini with those retro lines and that swooping side pillar. not to mention that spoiler at the back.

the bonnet just looks weird, and the way they angle the lights at the front to make it look angry is abit of a joke >_> audi's don't look cute, and thats what they're doing here. with the mini/fiat 500 lines it has

  • I'm sorry but this is much more chic as a Citroen DS3 imo.

  • @ipbalkenende Maybe, but its better.

  • could you buy a HD camera Fifth Gear <3

  • a good car for people living in cities small easy to park, fuel efficient and audi has always been a reliable brand so resale value should be okay

  • Curious conclusion!

  • Very preety car, saw it as a concept at Goodwood

  • luv the live up-dates. 72mpg please bring this to Canada!!!!

  • don't forget! gallons on the other side of the ocean aren't the same as over here. That is still 60mpg in North America, which is a lot, but it is still less!

  • Gallons in europe are bigger so it gets at least 75 mpgs. Which is really really really really good!
