As one of the best road drivers in the world, I found this car a little disappointing when the factory asked me to test it. I won't go into detail because it would be too technical for Youtube viewers.
The more time you go fast the less it feel as fast as the first time. I remember hen I first hit 150mph, the feeling to 150mph was crazy. Now doing like 140 mph feels at times like 95mph tbh even at night. The faster you are going the less G's there are given that the grip is the same at low gears.
If you were 2 pass the 400 km/h barrier you'd probably shit yourself, so I'm gonna sell the toiletseat accessory , just in case, only 10000$ That's where the real money is, and after selling 100 I'll buy an agera 4 me and get the toiletseat 2
@gollese I dont rely on wikipedia that much. id like to know any official top speed record. Thanks anyway mate. i personally think 442 would not be possible.

Hahaha people that still think the Veyron is faster are living under a rock, this would eat the Veyron in a straight line and on a track easily. It's a monster. The Veyron's reign as the worlds fastest production car is over. SSC Tuatara, Hennessey Venom GT, Agera R... The list is getting longer, I still think that the SSC Ultimate Aero was capable of being faster than the Veyron too.
First of all not a single SSC Tuatara has been made and none sold. The way things are looking now it's unlikely it will ever go beyond prototype stage.
Second of all nobody bought the SSC Ultimate Super Extra Aero Twin Turbo Ultra Fast (tacky name for a tacky car) , whereas Bugatti sold 300 Veyrons to the rich and famous when they had to halt production in order to maintain a level of exclusiveness.
What matters in the real world is numbers sold. Not 1-2 kitcars.
@WASPTexas I really don't care that much, I just like to see you Veyron boy's get all riled up. If companies build something in fewer numbers that is faster, its not like it doesn't count. The Venom GT will be faster, its 0-200mph numbers are even faster than the Agera R I think. 15 seconds or something. Even if that is a kit car, it will be faster. Well maybe quicker is a better word then faster... Because they don't actually know what its top speed is...

The early Koenigsegg's weren't exactly known for their reliability and some owners had theirs sold or returned.Since then they have probably made great progress but the jury is still out as how long an Agera R will last in this highly tuned form.

@McLarenMercedes I don't know where you heard that, I have never heard of the Koenigsegg's being unreliable. Obviously when you build something of this caliber to sell at this price, you make sure it will last. Its not hard to make an engine reliable when its an 8.0L W16 pushing barely any boost at all. The thing could probably push 20 psi and the block would be fine, the rest of the car probably couldn't handle it however.

@McLarenMercedes i never heard that a koenigsegg had issues and koenigsegg is building their own engines now which are capable of 1600hp without problems. so 1100 hp are not that hard to handle for the engine, it has plenty of reserves.
@SpeedDemonS7 not a joke. i drilled 1/4 holes in my exhaust (adds approx. 80hp), put on a wing (helps with downforce and adds 69hp) and also a hood scoop (adds 500hp). I also have spay painted my wheels lime green (i guess that adds at least 40hp). So as you can see, my civic is the cats meow

@TripleCraft The Koenigsegg is more like a race car in every aspect. It's more exciting, but it must be a torture on longer trips because the engine is bolted directly on the chassis and there is no filtering of vibrations or sound. I only say this because you are comparing it with the Veyron and many people prefer cars which are fast, but no so fast that comfort is totally sacrificed. I suppose that's what being "terribly wrong" means to you...
@borthwey I totally agree! We don't even know if this is faster than the Super Sport but I think VW will crap on all soon when they do a car that has no comfort, just speed and acceleration and sacrifice all that luxury.
Both Bugatti and Koenigsegg have announced they are out of the whole speed chasing game. Speeds at that level become entirely theoretical as they cannot actually be used in reality.

Infact... At the koenigsegg factory they told me many of their customers already own a Veyron. They use the Veyron to look cool outside a casino and the Koenigsegg for thrashing on race tracks and the road. Atleast if you crash your Koenigsegg, you can order a new one. Not so with a Bugatti.
@Ryknfjor It would be bolted into a subframe which is what then would be connected with the chassis. While in race cars, the engine/transmission block is part of the chassis itself and plays a structural part since it supports the suspension hinges of the rear wheels.
@Ryknfjor To connect an engine with the subframe one can use rubber parts which dampen vibrations while if the engine block is part of the structure itself the connection must be direct to ensure rigidity.
finaly, one video from a true car, bugatti is a big fat heavy shit, that car run only in a line, can't make a turn, bugatti have only top speed, nothing more. Koenigsegg, SSC, Barabus TKR, Dagger GT, have aerodynamics, good weight and adequate suspension.
if you want a lux car, just buy a lamborghini
if you want a true speed and performace in a track, buy a Koenigsegg or Zonda

The Dagger GT is like many american supercar wannabes, its just a webpage with some 3d rendered pictures begging for investment money to build it. It wont actually ever exist.

Oh its quite common in USA. Just look at the SSC Tuatara. Already claiming wooorlds fastest car before its even built. They dont even have a working prototype. Dagger GT is one, then there is Ronn Motors. He claims his car came to him from god. That it was devine intervention. There are alot of these in USA. They are crazy.. Simple as that. Waving flags and believing. Having faith is more important than this reality that we actually live in.
Acceleration aside, I'd love to drive in a line along side it in my car at 100mph and both of us slam the brakes on at the same time just to see how shit my car brakes compared to this.

Love how effortlessly the Agera R took a massive dump on the Veyron/Veyron SS acceleration times with this single test, this car is simply unstoppable.
Look at those interiors.. it has NOTHING compared to the veyron. Veyron is a car, this one is an arrow with and engine and 4 wheels.. Made to beat Veyron and still failed.. oh and the buggatti weights 2 (+ something tons) and this one weights 1.5tons..and it has the same horsepower and its a lot more aerodinamic (or it should by its looks). Veyron is a phenomenon of engineering.

Anyway between the Veyron and the Koeni it would be Veyron all the way, its much more of a car its like comparing a BMW 760li with a Porshe Panamera, they are both great cars but for different public targets, the Bimmer has power, looks, tecnology, space, and luxury. Panamera has great looks, power and tecnology only...

I agree, Keonigsegg has the looks and the speed. You know what I hate? The Ultimate Aero. It deserves NO CREDIT because they stole the looks of the Lamborghini Diablo and made the car look worse. In Forza 4, this car hits the rev limiter on 6th gear at 360kmh. The wikipedia article states that the 440kmh top speed is "theoretical". Obviously, with shorter gearing the car beats the world record more easily, but it then could not reach the top speed as reported.

@latuman In Forza 4 u drive an Agera not an Agera R the R is more powerfull.fully tuned the Agera runs 437kmh without gear changing faster then a tuned veyron but i dont know it how it is with the veyron SS and SSC i will tune the SSC in a few days but i dont have an SS

top speed has more to do with power to frontal area ratio than power to weight ratio.
the keating may have 1/2 the wt of bugatti but it doesnt have half the frontal area and hence half the drag. and a lot of other factors like downforce, stability and distance.
several tuner cars with 2000+hp on gas turbine engines have hit 325mph

Germany has the autobahn but most german cars are limited electronically to 155 mph. Doing anymore than that is completely ridiculous.
Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo all started doing 200 mph in the 80s and dont go any faster today because anything more than that is completely unrealistic.

Infact... At the koenigsegg factory they told me many of their customers already own a Veyron. They use the Veyron to look cool outside a casino and the Koenigsegg for thrashing on race tracks and the road. Atleast if you crash your Koenigsegg, you can order a new one. Not so with a Bugatti.

@Ryknfjor It would be bolted into a subframe which is what then would be connected with the chassis. While in race cars, the engine/transmission block is part of the chassis itself and plays a structural part since it supports the suspension hinges of the rear wheels.

@Ryknfjor To connect an engine with the subframe one can use rubber parts which dampen vibrations while if the engine block is part of the structure itself the connection must be direct to ensure rigidity.

finaly, one video from a true car, bugatti is a big fat heavy shit, that car run only in a line, can't make a turn, bugatti have only top speed, nothing more. Koenigsegg, SSC, Barabus TKR, Dagger GT, have aerodynamics, good weight and adequate suspension.
if you want a lux car, just buy a lamborghini
if you want a true speed and performace in a track, buy a Koenigsegg or Zonda

i saw it on top gear (picture) and they said that its not build yet and they just promised to do it. so basically its not a car, because it doesnt exists. still i would choose a zonda and a koenigsegg over a veyron but i wouldnt choose the ssc or the barabus (just too cheap looking)

Oh its quite common in USA. Just look at the SSC Tuatara. Already claiming wooorlds fastest car before its even built. They dont even have a working prototype. Dagger GT is one, then there is Ronn Motors. He claims his car came to him from god. That it was devine intervention. There are alot of these in USA. They are crazy.. Simple as that. Waving flags and believing. Having faith is more important than this reality that we actually live in.

Look at those interiors.. it has NOTHING compared to the veyron. Veyron is a car, this one is an arrow with and engine and 4 wheels.. Made to beat Veyron and still failed.. oh and the buggatti weights 2 (+ something tons) and this one weights 1.5tons..and it has the same horsepower and its a lot more aerodinamic (or it should by its looks). Veyron is a phenomenon of engineering.

Anyway between the Veyron and the Koeni it would be Veyron all the way, its much more of a car its like comparing a BMW 760li with a Porshe Panamera, they are both great cars but for different public targets, the Bimmer has power, looks, tecnology, space, and luxury. Panamera has great looks, power and tecnology only...

I agree, Keonigsegg has the looks and the speed. You know what I hate? The Ultimate Aero. It deserves NO CREDIT because they stole the looks of the Lamborghini Diablo and made the car look worse. Shelby will never be able to make super cars that would be chosen over a Koenigsegg or even a Veyron. Nice vid btw

In Forza 4, this car hits the rev limiter on 6th gear at 360kmh. The wikipedia article states that the 440kmh top speed is "theoretical". Obviously, with shorter gearing the car beats the world record more easily, but it then could not reach the top speed as reported.
Has anyone actually driven this car to its top speed and what was it?

@latuman In Forza 4 u drive an Agera not an Agera R the R is more powerfull.fully tuned the Agera runs 437kmh without gear changing faster then a tuned veyron but i dont know it how it is with the veyron SS and SSC i will tune the SSC in a few days but i dont have an SS

a koenigsegg will NEVER claim the the speed record Again..car company and ppl in here seriously need to stop thinking that power is the main key for top speed LOL...you need power to accelerate a car yes but every car has a drag top speed limit where the force will stop it for go further.. here is a example: Bugatti Veyron 1200bhp and 2ton hits 269.80mph on the highest run TKR keating car had 1900bhp and weighed 900kilo thats over 2000bhp per ton=)) that car hit 260.1mph WHY??? top speed has more to do with power to frontal area ratio than power to weight ratio.
the keating may have 1/2 the wt of bugatti but it doesnt have half the frontal area and hence half the drag. and a lot of other factors like downforce, stability and distance.
several tuner cars with 2000+hp on gas turbine engines have hit 325mph
