I've played this enough to give my opinion now. Its graphically not up to date, the gameplay is relativly simple and well strategic is mainly mass rush. But hey its a funny game and has an awesome soundtrack.

You have no unit limit, no ressource limit. Due to the short techtree, all units are pretty fast available and instant action can start.

Don't make the mistake and compare this game to other games like Homeworld or Nexus ... these are completly different games to this.

this is where the real engageing action is! typical old school people are stuck with old, out of date starcraft. when the new players are scorching the galaxy with this game!

@jaspertheking4life I <3 the Vasari! I don't call remnants of the Dark Fleet that much, only under the most desperate situations. I just place a Stargate at every point I possibly can so I can immediately travel to that location. Thus my reinforcements are never far behind. The Vasari will rise again!

@rotnem07825 lol I usualy pack my planets orbit with capital ships and Phase gates so every time my oponent attacks with like 10 Korsov siege friggates, he's in for a nasty suprise ^^

@jaspertheking4life Awh yeah, that's how you work that shit! The Vasari are epic mid to late game. With that gate you don't need anything else! Then with the Starbase you just molest anything that tries to mess with you. Also it's great to just pop in a fleet big enough to defend on an enemy planet and build it there. Slow rape ftw!

@rotnem07825 yup, that's my style, and with the advent I just team up with the TEC, let them do my dirty work to clear out militia on uncolonized planets. and in the mean time build up a massive fleet of planetairy bombers and Vengeance class motherships ^^^
