  • You girls sound awesome!

  • Mais a-t-on réellement compris le sens des paroles et de la mélodie????

  • Nice one !!

  • Nice job, girls! Martha, Connie, and Vet would be proud. Your alto is very strong, which is essential with this material. Your lead needs to work on joining the head and chest registers. Keep in mind that Connie and her sisters trained themselves classically. Beauty of tone was always foremost in the Boswells' work.

  • the gilr in the middle, greaaaat voice

  • Wow....Very impressive I wish music today can sound like this again. I am 29 years old and I have stopped listening to modern stuff because it just got to be too blah! So now all I listen to is 20s 30s and 40s. Big band type music. My Grandparents were so lucky.

  • The Boswell Sisters are alive and well!!

  • They did a great job on this! I accidentally ran across this while listening to the Boswell sisters here on YT. Glad I did :)

  • that was really great!

  • che tristezza

  • You're right ---- They nailed it

  • @judyjudymyrna yes because the boswells are overdone and this lot are good but take too much of a liberty with the original melody !

  • RPS nails this Boswell Sister arrangement. Terrific job!

  • Awesome job girls!! Keep it up!

Too bad more people in our age group (I'm 21) can't respect this great music!

  • Wow, I adore you guys. Seriously, you are so lovely and compatible.

  • We are putting some young instrumentalists together with jazz vocalists that have previously been singing to recorded arrangements, and we are using your perfomance as an example of rhythm and harmony at its best. We hope to watch and learn much more from you. Thanks

  • you girls did an amazing job on this song. i think you should stick to more music like this. it's fantastic!

  • nice jobb =]

  • thanks for posting o and fezkar its a diffrent version theres two this mostly mad for suprano in three parts

  • It's the Boswell Sisters arrangement from 1935. Performed impeccably, I gotta say.

  • Certainly different from Nat King Cole's original "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter" but very nice performance.. thanks for posting it.
