WHAT?! You got injured by a spike that was behind the net? Players don't get hurt by enemies (including Podoboo) when they are on the other side.

That is becouse layer 2 is always behind layer 1 !

Not quite. You're right in this case because layer priority is disabled on everything here. But if layer priority is enabled, then it would appear in front.

a few questions,
-what is the sprite command for the bowser statues, the randomly appearing ghosts, the moving spike things in the background, and the giant dinosaurs.

open "add sprites window" window, and select "special commands" at that menu, and there should be those randomplu appearing ghosts. you'll cant add "giant dinosaurs" into normal levels

2 create an IPS patch, you'll need an IPS program (goto my profile). Open Lunar IPS and click on "Create IPS Patch". Choose an UNMODIFIED SWM Rom. After that, choose your hack. Finally, choose a file name for the patch.

That spike/net area might be impossible to get through while still keeping your powerup >.>
