  • Pronuncia accettabile, ottima performance! Magari l'avrei diretta più velocemente, l'ho sempre trovata un'aria frizzante, non c'è posto per il dolore in questa opera!

  • Gee! I've just realized that I've already watched this vid 34 475 times!

  • I wonder how tall is Luca Pisaroni. I looks very very tall!

  • Rated 4 out of 5 furlanettos

  • Luca RULES !!!

  • Topi is great!

  • handsome and very good singers aren't they?

  • "-We've won!

    -A pair,or trips?"

    What a pessimist joke!:D

  • excellent interpretation, could meaner though i think.

  • Beautiful boys, beautiful girls, beautiful singing, beautiful staging (beautiful work on the lights).... BEAUTIFUL and rare!

  • W IL LUCA! Non so se qualcuno oserà ancora cantare Guglielmo dopo di lui!

  • Just saw Opera Australia's Cosi Fan Tutte. Shane Lowrencev is AMAZING... A true Bass singing Guglielmo... So lush and refreshing. A name to look out for!

  • I love your username!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 5:01 to 5:07 makes me smile every time :P

  • Ah, that chest hair... *growl*... teach me, tiger... And the bejesus, can he sing!

  • This is a nice balanced performance, not too hectic and not too slow, good energy.

  • Yes! Nice chest, too....I mean, of course, for singing....

This is such a delightful opera. Notice that it takes the men to 'poison' themselves before the women 'give in'.

I wonder how the men would do, if a similar trick were played on them...well, no I don't REALLY wonder, I kinda know how it would go down....

  • Hot! I think that I'm going to need a cold shower to calm down.

  • Gosh, they're both so cute, how's a woman to decide which one of them she wants to be with?

  • Actually, I think they look very much the same in their "turki" disguise - at least on the images printed to the two DVDs - I cannot tell who is who from these images alone ;)

  • Great singer and actor, who makes this aria his own, with a slight variation in "a tanti a tanti a tanti a tanti" - which is funny for me! I particularly like him and Fiordiligi. (she's not been miscast, I think she's just different from the other ones)

  • What language is Lehtipuu speaking in? When he sings he's quite acceptable, but the recitatives...

Sei adorabile. E già che ci sei potresti mostrarlo pure a noi! :-)

  • He is Finnish.

Did you mean his pronunciation, accent, or tone?

  • Well, the tone will never be "Italianate", but that's ok. But he should sing with Italian vowels and consonants. I know he's Finnish. If he wants to sing Italian operas he should study a little more the Italian language. But nobody cares. In German or French operas they are all obsessed with pronounciation. When it comes to Italian repertoire, anything goes...

  • @NedRorem i think Lehtipuu's pronunciation in recitatives is good enough, i mean its just normal, since hes finnish; i dont see anything so terrible! (ma comunque concordo con te sul fatto che quando si tratta dell'italiano passa tutto in cavalleria ... )

  • You just made me order it form amzn. Not fair, I spent a lot on music last month and my wife will certainly go mad, but these arias are elusively shocking, utterly entertaining, or it is just Mozart- snofa bch. Thanks for posting this and that clarinet quintet; you just hit the spot.

    Mirro

  • the translation is incorrect

  • good enough

  • Subtitles are always a bit off.

  • @IlPianista24 Better than the "Schirmer pronouncing" scores - those are more or less nonsense, lol....anyone else think the tempo of the aria is a little slow? Mozart marks it as allegretto..i feel like by the end, especially at "velo mostro, mille volte il brando presi" (la-re-si-sol-sol-sol-do-sol-do-mi-re-sol [fixed-do]), he seems to be a little tired and out of time with the orchestra. Could use a little more covering ;)

  • Plus... he's hot!

  • He's actually a basso cantate (bass-baritone), according to official sources. Although I prefer Simon Keenlyside's interpretation, Luca is absolutely wonderful in his own right.

  • Awesome! Superb voice, musicality, style!!! Lyric baritone! aaa (btw, his name is Pisaroni, without n)
