El baron admetia el mismo que no era muy buen piloto. Udet era un virtuoso. El as frances Rene Fonck obtuvo 75 victories de los 140 que a abatido, cuando el baron obtuvo 80 de 83. Si no fuera por la diferencia de acreditacion de victorias entre cada pais, Fonck tendria + o -120 victorias

Ciekawe,albo i szokujące niektórym może się wydawać, że jeden z niemieckich pilotów na swojej maszynie miał wymalowaną Gwiazdę Dawida - .w czasie I wojny światowej w Niemczech żydowskie pochodzenie nie było niczym niezwykłym. Dopiero potem zrobiono na nich nagonkę, a jeszcze w czasie wcześniejszej wojny walczyli tak jak inni. Smutne.

The early planes were crude, basically wooden and canvas wiring monsters. Very, very agile monsters. They were fragile, and when you caught fire, you were given a pistol for the purpose of saving yourself from a fall, there were NO parachutes on WW1 aircraft. Well, none that I know of.

These guys got up close and personal, and now 100 years later we can obliterate planes from miles away.

So amazing the history of aviation, only 100 years and we have already gone to the moon...

@DongosLeaderKoreta Yep, you are right, there was absolutely no parachutes for pilots, even though parachutes existed (long before the first planes), but high command on both sides thought that pilots were gonna bail out because of fear of fighting... so without parachutes they were "forced" to keep fighting...

Producers said they wanted to show that during the WWI Jews flew on airplanes too. But they fucked this movie up cause the movie shows some fictional Jew who is a FRIEND of Richthofen. This is lie cause there wasn't such person as a "jewish friend of Manfred and pilot from Jasta 11's squadron".
