Homeric needs to remember that Carnival is an American AND British company - 'Carnival Corporation and Plc' -Corporation in the States and PLC in the UK.
We had a great time of Queen Victoria this May and are booked on her for next April. Although on the outside she is at as pretty as the QE2 (and can't be with so many balconies), she is wonderful inside.
yes she maybe designed on the QV but however she will be slightly larger than QV with her own personality ie some things on board will be diffrent to that on QV does it really matter who designed her? i know who owns cunard but the cunard ledgend lives on its one of the oldest names in shipping history what do u hold against the name cunard as well , vuarndival? never heard of them
Ok...your channel and you're entitled to read whatever you like.
An FYI..the new QE is actually the QV modified..same floor plans and decor, designed by Princess Cruises designer Therese Anderson. Staffed and managed by Princess as well. The QE has the exact same decor as QV but done in blue,,hardly rocket science for any designer.
Carnivore's British themed Vunardival is just that, a theme, owned in America and run/staffed/designed by it's own competition.
Dude... maritime corporate politics don't interest me. I'm in it for a "good time" - the sights, the sun, the wine and the women. I'll let people like you quibble aimlessly about hull designs. If you need me, I'll be on the Lido deck lounging and working on my tan.
if you wanna shout and ball about a ship do it to the company not on my channel , i did not make this video for some one to go oh its a clone oh so and so designed her , fact is so what she may look like other vista ships but shes far beter than a namby pamby ship thats aint even got a touch of stlyle to it, in fact the new Queen Elizabeth will also reflet the era of the first Queen Elizabeth and in time she will be famous as all cunard liners are thankyou
FYI..The Queen Vicotria was designed by Therese Anderson, chief designer for Princess Cruises. Cunard is staffed and managed by Princess Cruises as well. The Icky Vicky is one of 17 clones sailing for Carnival...everything you see on her has been done and her sister clone, the Queen Elizabeth, will carry over everything from the Icky. As one design magazine noted "Carnival can squeeze the poop out of every design nickel they spend.."
I went on the maiden voyage and had an AMAZING time!!! Many people we had met on the Queen Mary 2 maiden were there too. A wonderful ship - so cozy. I love her!
You'll be so fortunate to cruise on Carnival's latest clone..oops.."sister" for the Icky Vicky, the !7th Vista hull Queen Elizabeth.
Cunard, designed, managed and staffed by Princess Cruises. You know the brand Silver..the "low brow" brand in America you despise so actually created, runs and staffs your percieved level of superior luxury..
Come Silver..deep down you know you'll look around the new Carnival clone Queen Elizabeth and think that Princess designed this "wonderful" experience. It's understandable for someone like you who persists to live in the past that Cunardival is somehow British, it's American owned, designed, managed and staffed by Princess Cruises. Cunardival is the end result of its own competition!
It's as British as Carnivore Cruises, Cunardival's parent.
Very nice video;)
A lovely tribute to the lovely Queen Victoria:)

I think it's a shame that Cunard (Carnival Corp.) decided to make Queen Victoria just a Vista class ship. Should be a unique one just like QMII
