  • the girl in the middle of the second group needs to stop being so amazing!!!!!!!

  • @RawrImaDancer

    I know... 2:23!!!

  • wow ,, che bello :-)

    Kiss From Italy :D

  • Nothing competes with the vaganava method.

proof is in the pudding (or side extension and balance in this case).

    .

    .

  • i thought this would be higher than grade 4...

im about to take my grade 4/5 RAD and we havent done any of this... :S

  • No..I think it is Rudolf Nureyef

  • wow

  • they three are veeery good

  • wow the middle one's so good.

  • wow... i cant do that... lol

  • That;s like advance work..

  • Wwoow!

    i pass to 4 grade!

    i have to do that!!?

  • Wow they're sooo good! i take ballet & i suck @ it but i've been taking a lot more ballet classes this year & have gotten better. It's helped me w/ posture & strength. I have one question tho. What's the difference between Royal Academy of Dance and Vaganova Ballet Academy? Like r all the set stuff the same & do they have the same amount of levels? I'm wondering bcuz my dance studio does RAD & I don't remember doing those things in Grade 4.

  • They are not the same. RAD and Vagonava are two schools of Ballet. You will find somethings are similar, and the basics are the same ( a plie is the same for both as an example.) the main difference is the focus, if you watch ballet dancers from each school doing the same variation you will most likely be able to see it more easily.

  • they are full time ballet students. their school has their own syallbus. IT's allot higher and difficult then RAD's.

  • It looks really hard. But they make it so beautiful and there extensions r amazing.

  • The grade 5 here doesn't actually means grade 5 outside.. It's like in Harry Potter, the senior school starts with yr 1 till yr 7. Therefore the grade 5 students are actually around 16-18 years old

  • The grades in RAD and Vaganova do not correspond at all. Students enter the Vaganova Academy at 10 or 11 years old for grade 1. Most of them have already been studying ballet for years before they enter the school and are likely already equivalent in skill to RAD grade 4 or 5. When they are in 5th grade at the Vaganova school, they are usually 16 years old, and are studying advanced skills at that time. They would be equivalent to RAD Advanced 1, most likely.

  • they make ballet look so effortless! so much grace. amazing

  • Oh my gosh! They are so graceful and beautiful and graceful and...and FLEXIBLE! and their turnout is INCREDIBLE! I love it sooooo much!

  • at my ballet academy the teacher use the vaganova training...

omfg i still look so shitty against these girls!!!! i've worked 13 long and hard years to get my leg up to my ear..and they do it in what...? 3-4 years??? OO wow

  • That's amazing! And they have a perfect tournout. I wish I could do that......:)

  • Thay are good, wow!

  • thanks very much Ilya for this videos.super educative...

  • you guys are great dancers!!! wow!! amazing!

  • how old are they?

  • 3:34, leg from the girl in the center...AMAZING

  • omfg yeah!!!

    how is that possible!?!?!?!?

  • they are incredible!!

  • That is unbelievable... AMAZING strength!

  • This isn't RAD Grade 4... I'm doing that at the moment and there is no way I would be able to do this :)

  • No this is Vaganova training. Not RAD. Rad grade 4's are about 10 years old. Also

  • i'm rad grade 4... but i'm 13

  • yes I am just speaking in general terms. RAD grade 4 is anywhere from 9-13 year olds.

  • cool.

    i just turned 13.

anyway, my exam is in a week! eeeek :D

  • this is fifth year training. the number 4 is the video number btw!

    did your exam go well?

i'm 16 and on grade 4!! so there's nothing to worry about - although i've only just started ballet! i'm loving it! but its hard!.. and it'll be a LONG time untill i get to this standard!

    xxx

  • cool

if you practice every day maybe you'll be really good at it... thats what my ballet teacher tells me to do :)

my exam was really good thanks,

i just got the results a few weeks ago... i got a merit.

    x

  • yeah lets hope!

but i'm more of a singer.

    dancings just to aide it.

    aww well done babes!!

i don't know youbut i'm proud of you!!

  • hey im 16 and just started to. How do you find it? Im on grade four

  • are they studying rad syllabus? its amazing how good they are at such a young age

  • I assume that is not Grade 4 RAD - ha ha!!!

    Very impressive stuff!

  • this is sorta scary :/

  • Who is that girl is the center of the second group?! That face looks familiar and she has amazing extensions!

  • OMG!!! my ballet teacher use this coreography!!!!! Lol... in our classes xD

  • ummm wait they cant be in gr.4! thats insane

  • yes, 14-15 years old

  • If this is 5th year, they're about 15 years old. Training doesn't start in Russia (at professional schools) until age 10.

  • wow! how old are they?! and yes, 2:30-3:34 is AMAZING! i wish i could get ANYWHERE near that on barre!

  • well I was disappointed with the loss of turnout that occurred from barre to center (as they all have lovely turnout, I expected to see them continue to use it in center, as they are Vaganova students). However, since they are young, I guess it is understandable. I know I lose turnout also when I get to center.

    Pleasant surprise at 2:30-3:34

  • Wow!!!!
