Hi! I use Trados 2009 sp3 and when adding google translate to my project, it request an API key. Is it normal? Your video does not show that. Thank you
Any time you open a new TU this sentence(s) goes to Google and are automatically translated, so you get the translation into the open TU. Right? Good, then you have to edit this translation cause 95% ot the translations have to be modified. Ok no problem, but... and this is my question, this edited translation ((my translation) goes to Google after I close this TU?
When a user of SDL Trados Studio 2009 SP2 is using Google Translate, the source text is sent to Google Translate to get the automatic translation. Even if the translator post edits the Google Translation, at no time is the edited version sent back to Google once they have finished working on that segment.

Hello fernandoscolletion,
In answer to your question -
When a user of SDL Trados Studio 2009 SP2 is using Google Translate, the source text is sent to Google Translate to get the automatic translation. Even if the translator post edits the Google Translation, at no time is the edited version sent back to Google once they have finished working on that segment.
Hope this answers your question!
