  • this is ausome ive learnt every one now

dads taught me more about escaping a kidnapped

  • shouldnt we be pivot out foot when punching?!

  • Thanx... good teaching skills

  • good drill never had to use martial arts yet to defend myself but I am not even close to confident with hooks, pretty sure the average yobo who's had 20 beers would not even register me touching him let alone be hurt by it

  • get on your toes and show more aggresion

  • With a slight rotation or lift of the front foot you can even get more of your body behind the punch. And generally, move more.

  • i like how u dont pivet your front foot? you shouldnt be teaching

  • Nice Video, random question, are you english?

  • awesome video i have a question do u also have to lift weight to train for ma training. sorry if this is a dumb question

  • Ksshh

  • thanks

  • Yes I like to teach planting feet so beginners don't lift up and lose power.

Its my boxing training more than martial arts.

The most challenging technique to learn.

  • if its boxing your supposed to hit with the oppisite hand from the foot placed foward the most. so in this case you should be hooking with your right hand?

  • Very good drill. This almost exactly what I teach with, one exception. I recomend a slight "mash the bug" rotation of the front foot when throwing a left hook. This adds more hip rotation and increases the power.

Try this and see how much more pop you get on this punch

    Good video!

  • Thats how i've been taught, it adds so much power to the punch (left/lead hook) when you pivot the front foot.
