I've heard the turn signal and wiper stalks (on the steering column) are crafted out of billet magnesium and cost 14,000 dollars... So just imagine ALL the damage done (computers, wiring harnesses, electric motors, carbon fiber body panels, interior upholstery, by that saltwater-bath-in-the-bay episode. @wonderwoman352 probably not...the electrics as well as the engine will be knackered. the outside doesnt look too bad but thats not really where the cost comes in...im pretty sure an engine alone would be more than the retail of the car, then replace a load of panels, whole new interior, electric, engine...chasis possibly...very expensive lol

ANSWERS- He veered off the road because he allegedly dropped his phone and went to pick it up.

The car is mainly carbon fibre, so it won't rust, but some superficial welds may need to be done to smaller parts of the body. I would never take it up to 253 mph, but if you fixed it the right way, 230-240 would probably be safe.

Something this expensive he probably had "Self-Insured," I doubt any insurance company would want to cover one of these because of the damage it can cause ,if you can prove you have enough money you don't even need insurance.
