Hi, just considering a working holiday and would like some tips...firstly how much money should i save before going...and how much does this service cost. Also, jobs such as fruit picking are likely to be cash in hand so i shouldnt have to worry about tax..right?
Hi there, the minimum amount of money, required by the authorities is about 2,200GBP in your bank account. They serve you as a safety net for the first few weeks of your stay. You should also provide evidence you have sufficient fund for the trip back.
Our 48 hours service costs 155GBP. The standard, 2 weeks service is 145GBP. Regarding work, just make sure you get paid enough to get by and have fun. Even if you pay tax you can get most of it back, after the fiscal year is over.
