Its the best Marial Arts movie ever. These Ratings are made from people 10 years after,. Ofc if a guy doesnt know this movie, and rate it by comparing with acting and techniques of this time its clear why bloodsport get bad votes.

All people who grew up with this movie, it will be untouchable forever. And remember, the fight scenes are all real, based on real hard work and of an excelent fighter.

I don't know how this movie was rated 33% on rotten tomatoes. It was one of my favourites of all time! They can't make movies like this no more! Other than Bruce Lee, Van damme was a huge influence. People love martial arts because of people like bruce lee, van damme, jet li, jackie chan, steven seagal,etc. In my opinion, MMA wouldn't be as big if these guys didn't make these movies!

@F1ips1d3rz I'm actually gonna take this question seriously, lol. That's tough. Unlike the other movie martial artists (Bruce Lee, Jet Li, etc.), Van Damme and Chuck Norris both actually fought. Chuck Norris was a many time karate tournament champion before kickboxing was invented, while Van Damme had an 18-0 kickboxing record (advantage Van Damme). However, I'd still bet on Chuck Norris only because he was a Machado BJJ black belt since before UFC 1 and knows how to punch you in the soul.
