The rules for bjj i like better than judo. There is much more freedom for transition because of the length of the match. In judo the matches are fast and short. Bjj has more newaza where one can transition on the floor and follow through. It makes your newaza flawless.

I had a lot of success in newaza in Japan even as a lowly blue belt in BJJ (against seasoned players). It was because of the differences in approach between the two styles. This is the only reason why I was able to hang with and in many instances, better the judo BBs I was practicing newaza with.

Carlos, Helio and their brothers changed and adapted judo techniques to create brazilian jiu jitsu, this is basic knowledge that everyone in bjj knows but i know there's no point arguing with someone who is clearly uneducated on the subject

If you do not understand the difference between these two arts, I suggest studying them both in depth at good schools. FWIW I have black belts in both arts.

In fact, if someone wanted to demonstrate what a proper arm triangle defense would look like, i would show them this video. Svennson did an excellent job at defending. She defended an arm triangle attempt from a world class black belt who had full mount for over 3 minutes and 40 seconds. "Poor" technique my ass. And no Gracie world champions? lol you need some educating.
