Dieting is shit. It means you're going to do it temporarily and ultimately slow your metabolism down. Just make small adjustments when you see something can be improved without too much discomfort (like draining as much grease as possible without drying the food out).

I don't agree with the purging thing, but there are plenty of health foods that can help fill you up without adding calories, like an apple 20 minutes before your dinner- it tells your body that you've eaten and your appitite is quelled.

Getting off your butt more often is the most important factor in losing weight, as walk, ride a bike, jog, anything but vegging out in front of the TV.
Eating later in the day & then doing little to nothing is a good way to add inches & pounds so eat earlier & get out & work some of the calories off.

maybe. but the outlets for stress and anger mentioned here don't quite work. I just blast the shit out of computer-generated monsters for a while. of course, women have no interest in that; it's too masculine.
