I hope this game is a success cause I really like this series, I have only played the demo of the first game but I will buy it. This game is a reason for me getting a PSP. Maybe it will come to both 360 and PS3.

I don't think over 500k world wide for a low profile new ip jrpg is considered crappy sales. It didn't do well in the US, but when a game get it's own anime and manga series less than a year after release, it certainly didn't have crappy sales.

The reported numbers are lower than 250k . It reached 141k in Japan and 77k in USA . No EU numbers are available but it didn't appear on any of the EU charts so it couldn't have sold well

VC was a flop even if it is a great game so I understand why they moved the sequel to PSP

And the manga and anime was probably already planned before the game was released since the game was in development for quite a long time

dude it didn't do that bad it had a slow start but when they lowered the price the sales sky rocked sega even said they were impressed with the sales and it its been confirmed it sold over 200k in japan. Vgchartz says the game sold 550k worldwide by now and while they aren't always accurate they aren't off by that much usually so i'd say it did pretty good for a new ip. Japanese srpg is a niche genre too

ps3 400$ 360 299$ ps3 gets wireless and recharge controllers 360s you pay about 80 for wireless and another 50 for recharge system. and have to have a special cable for hdmi and optical sound and dosnt have blu ray and is loud and much hotter then my ps3. i own both. why? more ppl play 360. i do like controllers better. that is all. everything else? can goto hell. oh wait i like achievement points as opposed to trophies other then that. its flat crap.
