1) The Freedom was made exclusively for combat so it would probably win, as the Stargazer is an space-exploratory mobile suit.
2) The Stargazer would give the Freedom one hell of a run for its money, considering how m/f'ing fast it is, and its ability to absorb energy from others. I like the Gazer's concept too. It's original.
dude,stargazer can flings ur laser beam back at u,and and if stargazer ambush a target, nothing can run away it'll rip anything equal or smaller than it in size apart......but just like u said freedom will destroy stargazer if they were to battle and meet face to face as the stargazer travels at 1m/min to 1000mph,so ull know how slow it'll be when it start to moves

Here's what I think about Stargazer Vs. Freedom:

Simokawa Mikuni does make good music. My favorite was "Kohaku" from Grenadier, but "Tomorrow" from Full Metal Panic was good too.
