Hi. I've been thinking of getting this but I have a quick question.

Would this work well if I wanted to import a drawing I did to color it and Trace it to make the outline of it?

@randomstuff1282 it's easy, I first draw the mouth in black. Then I draw the top teeth without worring about borders, I mean, draw the teeth bigger than mouth, and then duplicate the mouth and do a binary operation to get only the intersection.

Am I understanding this correctly? The drawing above just made w/ Inkscape is a vector image, which means if I wanted to make a 20" x 30" poster w/ it, I just open it and export it as 300 dpi. resolution png (or jpg or whatever). Or if I need the image for a small web graphic, I can open it and make it a 100 dpi png. Basically, size is no object w/ vector graphics? I am curious about making t-shirt designs and don't know if this is the way to go. Thank you very much anyone!

that's path intersection, you draw the first path, mouth, then you draw the second path, teeth, then make a copy of the first one, ctr+d, select the second one and make ctrl+*, or in menu, path->intersection.

You need to duplicate the first path because intersection only leaves the "intersection". You want the intersection for teeth but you don't want to loose the mouth.

you need to select two, the mouth copy and the teeth. Use shift+click to select the second one.

What part of Inkscape bothers you? After all others find this software useful. Maybe you would like Adobe Illustrator. Its a commercial vector graphics software.

What are you trying to make in the first place. Maybe a raster graphic software like Photoshop, GIMP or Paint might be what you need.
