What is known is that he was never the same after the murders - in those days there was no counseling, and he became withdrawn and angry. He knew people whispered behind his back and avoided him. He was married with four children. Arthur died fifteen years after the murders in a car wreck. He has grandchildren and great-grandchildren also.
@louietheduke supposedly charles had already planned it...he had sent arthur on errand cause he knew arthur would overpower him (from what it said on video)and arthur died in car accident years later.
@ORyan113 , I agree. Looking at Arthur in the picture he was quite a tall, well-built young man who probably worked on the farm with his father. The other two sons were toddlers and the rest of the children were girls, so Charlie probably knew it would be easier (as terrible as it sounds) to kill them with less of a struggle. Arthur could have fought back and ruined his plans. So horrifying and sad. I can't imagine what it was like for Arthur for the rest of his short life.

She probably had to work her ass off with those little kids...and the Mom was probably a baby machine. No birth control pills in those days. Those people back then had hard, hard lives. 1929 was during the great depression. No work...no money...no hope. And "we" think we've got it hard now...hahaha.

@hwilson1997 I read somewhere that it's because in those times, dental care wasn't great and a lot of people didn't smile due to not wanting to show their teeth... so they probably just got the whole family not to smile so that they'd all fit in nicely. Also, great EVP, it's really clear and you can actually make it out, unlike so many others on youtube. Well done. :'D

Recently, one of my friends died. I had no idea he was gone. One night, someone called me from his mother's house. The call went to voice mail, but the caller held the phone and didn't say a word. I called my friend's mom and she told me he was dead. I asked her if she, or anyone else in her house, called me. She told me that she didn't have my number and that she was the only person in the house. I am convinced that call came from my dearly departed friend, but my friends think I am crazy.

My friend heard nothing on her end, but I asked her to remain silent while I held the recorder to the phone mic...what I got was pretty incredible. I'll post this soon...

Thanks Kari, yes, it is extremely clear...that's what just about blew us out of our socks, lol. When we played back the tape, we never even expected to find anything, much less such a clear evp. As for the locations you mentioned, I'm not sure we'll ever get to venture that far from home, but if we ever do, we'll be sure to check some of them out.
I been there very recently, late at night and I actually felt a happy feeling, like I was very comfortable, and I layed my hand on top of the lawson grave and I just had one of the weirdest feeling I have ever felt, it was almost like I was feeling the energy and death and pain coming from it. From then till I left the Cemetery I just had a bad feeling and it was almost MAKING me leave, like if I turned around to go back towards the grave, my legs got VERY shaky almost to the point I would fall.
I can honestly say that although I didn't feel scared while there (even though we thought we'd get there before dark and ditched the flashlights, lol), once we turned to leave, I suddenly had the eeriest feeling that someone was coming up behind me, and I wasn't about to turn to see if they were...I got outta there asap!! You definately set the mood, the EVP is fantastic. Maybe more work is needed, maybe if you were to return there on Christmas Eve you would get something else, maybe something more illuminating.
Possibly, you might find you have more interaction from finding out where the house was. It may not be there anymore, there may be some other building there. But if you were to go, and maybe do an EVP sweep outside, you would get something.

There's also a bed & breakfast nearby there that's featured in the movie (based on the story)...the owner has seen and heard Raymond and MayBell playing in the home, as have others. I've talked with her, and although she doesn't want another investigation, (someone did one already with no results), I'm going to interview her and take my recorder and see what we can get. Hi from: NC.
After spending quiet times at the grave site.
I too felt a "happiness" come over me.
I have always been lonely, scared, and many times thought of suicide.
My therapists can't believe how I "just overcame all these emotions that nearly had me to the point of ending my life."
I dreamed of little children singing after visiting the grave.
I'm now working as a teacher for abused children.

I been there very recently, late at night and I actually felt a happy feeling, like I was very comfortable, and I layed my hand on top of the lawson grave and I just had one of the weirdest feeling I have ever felt, it was almost like I was feeling the energy and death and pain coming from it. From then till I left the Cemetery I just had a bad feeling and it was almost MAKING me leave, like if I turned around to go back towards the grave, my legs got VERY shaky almost to the point I would fall.

I can honestly say that although I didn't feel scared while there (even though we thought we'd get there before dark and ditched the flashlights, lol), once we turned to leave, I suddenly had the eeriest feeling that someone was coming up behind me, and I wasn't about to turn to see if they were...I got outta there asap!! Thanks for the comment!

we did have flashlights either cuz we thought the people that live in that trailor above browder cemetary would see and freak out or somthing lol

Excellent video!!! The EVP is very clear. I've gotten some clear evp's at Jeremy Delle's grave also. It's truly a remarkable feeling to hear them!!! This is a extremely sad story that happened to this family!! I'm looking fprward to watching more of your visit's there.*****

You definately set the mood, the EVP is fantastic. Maybe more work is needed, maybe if you were to return there on Christmas Eve you would get something else, maybe something more illuminating.
Possibly, you might find you have more interaction from finding out where the house was. It may not be there anymore, there may be some other building there. But if you were to go, and maybe do an EVP sweep outside, you would get something.

Thanks for the comment. We're definitely going back to the cemetery very soon. There's also a bed & breakfast nearby there that's featured in the movie (based on the story)...the owner has seen and heard Raymond and MayBell playing in the home, as have others. I've talked with her, and although she doesn't want another investigation, (someone did one already with no results), I'm going to interview her and take my recorder and see what we can get. Thanks again!
