But trial versions of Mixcraft (the PC equivalent to garage band) last as long as you'd like. The only downside is that you can't export your music to .mp3 files without registering the product. It sucks cause you can't really make music in Audacity (unless of course you record yourself playing an instrument) like you can in Mixcraft.
