Think Band of Bro's mixed with Sharpe, give it a Dune scale epic setting and a dash of Clive Barker. You don't have to be a big fan of WH40k to get into them either.

There's a broad cast of characters that aren't just 2dimensional GIJoes, viseral battle scenes from a foxhole to trench warfare, airborne drop and great tank battles, plus a behind-enemy-lines special forces mission.

Solid characters, dynamic plotlines and great action. Cant recommend them enough.
