  • What is he getting surgery for?

  • I cried all the time when I was on a OCP with too much progestogen in, I think it is pretty common. And the word you were looking for is "endometrium" which is the name of the lining of the womb, but "endometrial tissue" is fine too :-) hope your surgery goes well, I enjoy watching your videos!

From a genderqueer AFAB doctor in the UK

  • So wait do you have a penis too or no?

  • hey...sky good luck on your operation by january...hope it will be successful...and good luck on your studies..I have a lot of questions about T coz I wanted to try it..I would like some changes on my physical looks...By the way Im also a lesbian..but havent tried any T..or any medicines coz unfortunately I dont have money to buy T..any ways..wish you luck sky..and good luck..

  • You are so handsome :p

  • Aww, I really hope the hormone levels and pain aren't too bad! I've dealt with that kind of depression, and last year my friend randomly got an ovarian cyst. She said it was the worst pain she had ever felt, so I can only imagine how hard it is for you to deal with that on top of school and everything. Just stay strong until the surgery--everything can only get better after that!

P.S. You're so hot. If only you liked boys ;)

  • What are some of the problems you are having from your female organs? I have started having a bit of pain in my lower stomach sorta like period pain but my endocrinologist thinks it is not related to T at all. What do you think? Perhaps your T dose has been too low?

  • you are so handsome!..ur changes are really amazing! =) good luck on your surgery!!

  • Thanks for the update Sky. Prayers for your surgery and healing : )

  • Really, sky. Best of luck with your hysto. I really am glad you posted this video. I struggle with the idea that I don't actually own my feelings all the time. It's terribly true that hormones have a huge impact on your person. Thanks, man.

  • Hottie(;

  • think your uploads are very helpful.. thank you

  • Oh my god. It both sucks that you might have endometriosis, and is awesome that I've finally come across another FtM with the same problems. I'm pre-T and have endo, but can't find anything on transitioning with it. : /

  • always read the side-effects for any medicine you take. That's why they put inserts in the box.

  • love you and your compassion and your perspectives on things.

  • i experienced my very first panic attack about 2 weeks ago... it was actually pretty scary and i seriously hope i NEVER experience that again. =/

  • You are so brave for enduring all this. People don't realize how lucky they are to just have simple things that you struggle with every day. I've watched you since the beginning and you are so inspirational, I'm so proud.

  • Your dr should've told you about the potential side-effects of that birth control medicine when he put you on it.

  • You are the cutest guy ever. Really.

  • Glad you're feeling good these days! I was looking back on videos I did while I was in a bad place and they're just so sad to watch. It's much nicer listening to people talk when they're happy. :)

  • yeayyy !! i miss u :D

  • I really love your plaid / flannel shirts. They're lovely.

  • You've been missed. Congrats with the surgery!

  • I had the surgery and it was covered. I had poly-cystic ovaries and I had abnormal bleeding. I bled for 3 months straight and had so much pain so they had the surgery approved before doing the surgery. They want to make sure they will get paid. So I had the laparoscopic surgery as out patient. I was fine enough to go home. They gave me percocet which I didn't use till about 2 days later. I had just a little ab pain from them doing their thing. You will be fine.

  • that moment when u see a skylarkeleven video in your subscription box XD

  • your voice is really really nice. and you look so great!!! =)) your transition is amazing!

  • your voice is really really nice. and you look so great!!! =)) your transition is amazing!

  • you just summed up my semester so far =/

  • my doctor is inserting an IUD called Mirena in a few weeks to treat endometriosis - it's used in the same way as oral birth control, without all the crazy hormonal effects because it doesn't use estrogen and the progesterone is delivered right to the uterus without having to flow all over your body first...

  • @jckrbbt4 that does work well for some folks, but considering i am getting the organ removed in a few months, it doesn't seem beneficial to have any extra surgeries, nor would my insurance cover that and it would be an added cost. i had really negative effects from added progesterone to my system anyway.

  • @skylarkeleven I have high hopes that it will work for me/avoid invasive surgery for now (not the best time for me), but we'll see... my experience with oral birth control sounds similar (among other things, depression that led to a LOA from school for an entire semester). I have yet to find out if insurance will cover the cost.

  • P3 Fucking Youtube cut me off AGAIN. Anyway, now that she has come out saying she plans to go trans, she is getting beat up, failed in classes, and having stuff thrown in her face. She is only 16 and they allow men to hurt her. She refuses to give up and drop out, or do home studies, and the police refuse to also help her. They claim we have no real case. Sorry. I was just ranting. xD But yeah, congrats to you on everything. I am excited for you!

  • @Melissaaadear what state do you live in? In Iowa I know for sure that we have specific laws that protect bullying in general, along with lgbt protection. If they fail to take action to protect your sibling your family (if your state has laws against bullying) has full right to sue the school. Which believe me the school will pay attention at that point. Also if you ever need any strong LGBT backing OneIowa is a good organization with loads of resources. Our youth need to be protected regardless

  • @Melissaaadear I live in Scotland, but my mum moved to Florida, and insists my sister goes to school there. My uncle is a cop there and won't even do anything for her. Not only is that state racist, but homophobic and sexist.

  • -P2 But aye, I got cut off. I wanted to say congrats on everything. <3 You have come SO far since I started watching your videos. It makes me like a weirdo proud mum, even though I don't know you. My little sister is 16, and is now started to go transgender. She gets beat up by MEN at school, and no one will do anything to help her because they say, 'she has it coming'. It makes me so sick to my stomach. She refused to come out to her school until she was 14 because of bullying, and now that she

  • Ugh. Youtube deleted everything I wrote. -.-" Let me re-type it. xD Was the birth control tablet different shades of blue? I have Bi-polar disorder, and the meds caused many tumours on my right ovary. I was/still am in TONS of pain to where I can't get up. I was put on birth control to try to shrink them, and they did the same thing to me. I was so angry and sad, and started to panic nonstop, and vomit. It was hell. They ended up taking me off it fast. I was wondering if it was the same one. -P1

  • I'm naturally how you were for those three weeks. Emotions wise. I'm like that every day. 8C

I love your videos. You really are uplifting.

  • hey sky! you will succeed in the best way ,lot of people here (including me) and close to you are supporting you..you'll find all what you've looking for day by day, being a better person each time.. greets & love ♥ i don't know if my grammar is right :s (i hope you can understand this he)

  • I wish you lots of luck :)

  • I'm glad that all is scheduled and set, hope it all goes well!

I've never felt that bad, nor were my mood problems because of chemicals, but I see what you mean about feeling awful. Glad you're better, though ^^ BTW, that's one thing I admire about you, you always seem so grateful for all the good things in your life that the bad things just seem so tiny in comparison.

but anyway, glad you're feeling better! :D

  • great to see you back *-*/

and Good Luck with surgery : )

  • i've been concerned about you! i'm glad you're feeling better. i hope-hope-hope insurance will cover your hysto!

this series of videos has really helped me plan my medical transition, so thank you! just got word from insurance that my top-surgery will be covered, which is great & the reason i've waited to start T. but now with all your hysto stuff, i'm thinking of waiting a little longer & just get my approval before insurance has a chance to deny me.

    good luck with everything!

  • I'm not trying to be creepy but damn, you're looking good. I certainly wish you the best on getting a successful medical proceedure.

  • wow you look great!

  • Congratulations on getting out of that horrible place. Great video very informative.

  • @BobbyBrady2000 Does your girlfriend not care that your penis is tiny?

  • Anyone who thinks that their pathetic for even thinking that they need prescribed medication to help them please don't While medication isn't always the answer if nothing else seems to be working talk to your therapist about what you can take to help you. No one should ever have to feel that bad. Also Skylar I'm so sorry that you had to go through that these past few weeks. Panic attacks suck the big one and that's putting it lightly. I hope that you feel better dear! :)

  • It's been really hard going through school. I was to anxious to go on most field trips and getting to and from school on the bus was a nightmare. It's currently my senior year and I had to leave on the second day of school because I had a huge panic attack before I could even get to my first class. I had been trying to deal with my anxiety with out the use of drugs but it got to the point where that wasn't an option anymore....tbc

  • I actually have super bad anxiety. I've had anxiety since I was really little it was probably around five years old that it started. There has been a history of anxiety in my family but all of them had it occur later on in their life. Basically I was born with an imbalance of serotonin that makes my instincts react almost like i'm in a life or death situation to the stupidest little things. I had constant panic attacks that made me physically sick....tbc

  • Oh Sky I know how you feel buddy i have what they call Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and I know that pain you have from your insides and the horrid side effects from meds i have had in the past. In regards to your Op in Jan good man for getting that sorted out, it's a bloody scandal that insurance won't cover you just because your Trans that doesn't take away the fact that your in pain and sick. Being Trans and pre T and PRe op for me its hard to see a way through. but hey you give me hope. x

  • heyyyy just shot you a PM about the cramping with some info! check it out :)

  • hope your hysto problems go away! glad to see you on youtube again! always love your updates help me see what could happen when i start t. stay strong skylar

  • Hey Sky, I'm sorry to hear that you've been through such a rough time! Hormones definitely make a huge difference, every time my dose is changed I have to readjust emotional. I hope that your hysto goes well, I should probably start planning when to get mine done as well. With top surgery I was so excited, but the hysto is just something I have to get over with, which I think a lot of guys feel. Hopefully post-hysto your hormones will level out and you will feel more balanced.

    take care!

  • wait i thought that when you started testosterone it would stop you from going into estrus which would mean you wouldnt need birth controll?

  • I've had bad experiences with birth control as well..can't take anything like that now, so I totally feel for you!

  • its nice to see you

  • Hey, I just wanted to comment on the physical-emotional pain part. I myself am diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder, and I can fully appreciate what you are saying. It is so hard to explain to others what it feels like not being in control of your emotions and just losing it whenever, wherever....almost randomly. It's really hard to endure and start working against it, but it's all manageable in time :) Thanks for the honesty and the update

  • ur hella sexy :)

  • To me, you are a guy. You were born to go through this struggle. This takes a lot, more than anyone can imagine. You're incredible.

  • I was having a pretty crummy day today...then I saw THIS uploaded and I was like dancing !

  • move to canada...

  • I missed you :)

  • omfg today is not the right day to get my speakers broken D:
