  • And one more thing.

Elsewhere on Youtube, Rory Bremner has a far more successful attack on the Bullingdon Boys which ends:

Birds of a feather, we’re the biggest fish in the pool

No traces ever, of whatever we smoked at school

You see what he’s doing here?

Hope this helps you in future.

  • Sorry Robb,

Thinking you sometimes write a cr@p lyric doesn’t necessarily make me a pompous right wing snob. You would have to have been minimally sharp and articulate to make a success of the central circus metaphor. Instead you thrash around failing to land any punch at all.

And there aren't any animals being abused ??? We give them all flags it keeps them amused ??? Sing Rule Britannia, and God save the pound ???

    Pretty poor stuff.

  • Is this the worst political protest song ever?

Apart from inchoate class envy and diffuse maunderings, what is it all about?

I’m sorry Johnson, F grade this time. I suggest you study the lyrics of songwriters who can write proper protest songs such as Bob Dylan or Steve Knightley., and don’t waste our time any further until you’ve taken their lessons on board.

  • @AltoCumulus3 Glad to know I'm still annoying pompous right wing snobs.

  • How tragic that an obviously talented musician so inevitably and predictably adopts such a simplistic attitude towards people of whom he clearly knows nothing at all.

  • @RoadProUK Well said old chap! Perhaps in future he'll conduct some proper anthropological research before making assumptions about our benevolent leaders.
