This is just PATHETIC... a mere shell of what Whitney used to be. This shows you the damage the drugs and partying did. Her voice isn't in the same Zip Code as she used to be. She clips her notes where she used to hold them, and relies on the musicians to fill in the gaps. And to those of you who think otherwise, try comparing this to videos of her earlier performances. She couldn't even make it through the song with out awkward breaks. Just pathetic, riding on her past greatness, nothing left.

The sound could be more controlled, and she'd be able to really get the crowd in her hand. I hope she gets her mojo back. Amen

People really need to realize Whitney sounded great at the beginning of this tour. For realz. About 2 or 3 months into the tour, she started getting sick, allergies, weight gain, possibly menopause, and a lot of strain on her voice from singing a lot! For example 3:12 she sung that with such power and didn't take a 15 minute break just to towel herself down or get water. She went right into it! I think it's when she sings for a long period of time "The Voice" starts getting VER VERY hoarse...

Why does she stop singing at parts? Whitney, you can't expect the audience to sing the song for you. I hate the way she sings now. She stops singing in the middle of the song. She gives the microphone off to the audience. She doesn't hit all the notes right. She sounds good (she still has the potential) but it's like she's not even trying. I wish nothing but the best for her, this really saddens me. Im praying for you Whitney. Im only sad because she knows whats shes capible of, but something holding her back. I know that has to be the worst feeling. Knowing you can do something, but something else is blocking it. But she's still one of thee best that has ever done it!

These Idiots Dont Get it she's on Tour...Haha...After singing all those songs.,,Then Ending it with this...Its Extremely Spectacular..Not to mention this wasnt bad...I'd Put any money on it that if Whitney sang this song for the opening act..She would have no prob..Wht so ever..If u just go back and look at Moscow in dec..She nailed both concerts..So its there..Its just tired..People give her a break..She's 46 and has concerts back to back..Thts fuckin hard..Even for young singers..Haha

To 'floydmatt987' - Let me put it this way. My favorite singer of all time is james Brown, but if i was comparing his voice to Pavarotti, I couldn't say james Brown had a better voice because technically pavarotti does. Same with Whitney and Dolly. Whitney could hit more notes than Dolly, had a much wider range.

What are you trying to prove by saying that? Once again, no one ever said that Whitney came up with this song, only that she sang it better than the original. And Whitney also sang this song with just as much emotion as Dolly did.

It's proven fact that she sang it better because, first of all, not a lot of people even knew about the song until Whitney Houston sang it. Second, if you call yourself a true Dolly fan then you should know that Dolly applauded Whitney for singing this song the way she did, and in fact, said that Whitney's version is better.

Omg! give me a break you people. We all KNOW that this song is originally Dolly Parton's. No one ever said that Whitney wrote it, came up with the music, or anything! I get so sick and tired of people always bringing up Dolly everytime Whitney performs this song.
