  • nice

  • I like how everyone is saying how impractical these are in fights. THEY AREN'T FIGHTING. In grappling competitions, flying submissions are very common among the advance tiered artist.

  • @klose152 its been pulled off in the UFC a few times. Not sure which fight but I'm almost positive Joe Lauzon pulled one off

  • @amensupremera Yes I know it's been done in MMA. I was stating that flying submissions are very common in advanced grappling tournaments

  • real is a technique really dangerous cuz is you fail now you on tha ground and is not good

  • BANG BANG STUPID

  • This is not a good technique move. Not even black belts will use moves like this.

  • sem kimono muito mais doido, mais prazeroso, mais surpreendedor, sem kimono e minha praia!!

  • The first one was GSP haha!

  • what the name of this song?

  • @chaosSIXXpurdy It's Bang Bang theme from the Kill Bill, not the original toughs, probably some kind of a remix.

  • where are the flying omoplatas?!

    Or bettr: FLYING GOGOPLATA!

  • @blackout108 look up flying gogoplata video... its hilarious... also omoplatas rarely ever work the regular way... you opponent would have to be stupid to let you get a flying one.

  • uh standing guillotine....

  • 00:57 flying omomplata btw...

  • @JamikeFalcon there's also an omoplata ;) Bet you didn't see it.

  • this is pretty sick

  • its just flying triangles and armbars, thats all

  • @JamikeFalcon doing flying submissions is already damn hard.Doing something except triangle and armbars is almost impossible(if your opponent isn't a noob)

Were you expecting a flying toehold or something?

  • @musclepieformybaby not hard if u work at it,just look at these guys...

  • @JamikeFalcon it's very very hard o pull it off in grappling matches let alone in a match where punches are allowed like mma.

Thats why you don't see them often. You can only pull it off if you catch your opponent distracted or reflexes slowed down. You can easily step back and punch him off

  • @musclepieformybaby yea i agree, specially if ur opponent is a beginner, then u might be able to pull it off,im just naming some standing submissions

  • @JamikeFalcon it's hard to do something else from a standing position ...

  • @normalnamesplz kimora.....

  • @JamikeFalcon hmm i think if you get a kimura hold it's better to roll them and get them on their back but it's possible :D never tried it though, might try it:) and haha flying omoplata is a pain to pull off and flying gogoplata is virtually impossbiel without being aoki

  • @normalnamesplz yea,me and a friend of mine grapple in his yard, then he pulls of a kimora hip toss on me

  • @JamikeFalcon nobody stops you before making better movie

  • it's not BJJ submission, but one of Sambo coronal:))

  • does anybody remember maxbjj he had a highlight of romulo but does anybody know the song on romulo barrals highlight on maxbjj page

  • 72 people can't are noob's

  • What's the song name ?

  • Let's play a game of 'Count the pixels'.... Won't take long.

  • Very good with the sound turned off. Dislike the garbage music.

  • flying submissions are fking cool but the thing they rarely work >>

  • Yuri Boyka approves of this video

  • Kardinall Ofishall - bang bang

  • What is the name of this song?

  • who is the name the son who say bang bang......

    help me please :)

  • 2:10 man is PISSED

  • Like this if you like this :D

  • If biting was allowed, this shit wouldn't work AT ALL. Look at where the guy's head is usually positioned when he's getting taken down. LOL

  • @Shorty20122012 i think your supposed to be under the neck not over his mouth

  • @Shorty20122012 i think your supposed to be under the neck not over his mouth

  • Retard.

1- You cant bite from a triangule choke , neither from a armlock since those skills mobilize the neck.

2- if those types of shit was allowed , eye poking , ear ripping , 90 degree elbown to the skull and other savage stuff you be too and a flesh wound bite would not do near the damage of any of those other strikers.

  • @inatakan88

You can obviously bite him from that position dumbass. Anyway, I'm not arguing with a loser. Blocked.

  • @Shorty20122012 no you cant fat nerd , to bite you need to move your jaw and neck. if you do that you cant hold the lock and you are fucked. fat fuck go watch you videogame shit

  • @Shorty20122012 dude it is really hard to bite from a triangle if the guy does it right cuz the arm is across the face, unless you wanna bite your own arm.

  • @Shorty20122012 Biting wont ever finish a fight. Breaking bones/joints & chokes will. you took a chunk out of my leg, I can still use it fine. do you think I will want to stop fighting or want to hurt you more @ that point? I start with taking your arm with me then your life while the last thing you will remember is falling asleep with a small piece of someone else's body in your mouth. whats your fighting style called? Never been in a fight & think biting will make someone stop hurting you.

  • @morganlavillagmail

Ok genius, so if someone has me in a triangle hold, what else can you possibly do besides bite them? In a street fight, you obviously know if someone gets you in a choke they're gonna fuck you up regardless if you bite them or not. I'll take my huge ass chunk from him before (and if) he does put me to sleep. And trust me, it will hurt him like fuck.

  • @Shorty20122012 you have never grappled in your life. You cannot bite inside of a triangle. Not when it's fully locked atleast. When it's loose, there are better escapes to try. Seriously, counter grappling doesn't exist. Learn to grapple.

  • @newerest1 Well that's the wrong mindset man. You don't "learn" how to grapple. It's pretty instinctive. You just get better at it. If you have brothers or sisters you must have wrestled with them when you were young? That's grappling. And there are a lot of ways to counter grappling. Small joint manipulation and hits to the back of the head for one - all banned in grappling competition but very real threats in no-rules grappling. Well they are a form of grappling on their own but thats sth else

  • @DestroyerAlexandros No, that's not grappling - that's crappling. You can grapple someone (when you both suck dick at grappling) but you will just learn bad habits. Going to a real school to learn under someone knowledgeable is always necessary unless you want to rely on strength

  • @newerest1 Yes man but think of it this way - there are cave paintings in some European caves from thousands of years back showing men wrestling and applying techniques very similar to contemporary techniques. Combative sports are not exactly rocket science and yes, going into a real school will improve your grappling but most people have it in them. Look at guys who start a combat sport in the 20s and become world champs? How many tennis world champs started doing what they do at 20?

  • @DestroyerAlexandros today we are better grapplers than the cave men were. How? Our techniques were built upon a base of what we know works. It might take a caveman 40 years to develop a sprawl when a coach can teach a child how to sprawl properly during his first lesson when he's 6. It is way faster to learn this way than teach it yourself. A bjj black belt has done all that, he shows you what works without wasting your time learning trash.

  • @newerest1 HAHA, man, today a fine art teacher can teach you how to make a classical Roman vase in 2 weeks but you will never be as good as Donatello unless you have his talent. A good teacher can teach you currents and voltage in 6 months but you will never know as much about it unless you work from the ground up like Tesla did. A coach can teach you to throw a right hook but you will never throw it like Bernard Hopkins simply because you gotta work from the ground up to find out what works 4 u

  • @DestroyerAlexandros you're agreeing with me. Those teachers were taught to get where they are. Bernard hopkins didn't go and learn boxing for himself - he had coaches.

  • @DestroyerAlexandros I have a hard time believe you're serious. You're arguing talent vs teaching yourself jiu jitsu. If I were to teach myself jiujitsu for 50 years I wouldn't be able to beat a black belt who trained with a legit instructor for 10 years. It's a fact. Stop trying to pretend like you're a prodigy or whatever it is you're trying to convey to yourself through your comments. I really get the impression you think you can teach yourself brazilian jiujitsu without going to a real gym.

  • @newerest1 HAHA you get the wrong impression. It's just that it's not as complex as people think. It's more of an instinct. That's the way I picked up boxing - I took a few classes then sparred and watched it on TV and in a few months I was beating people up at the gym who were training for the last 10 years. And Jon Jones started combat sports when he was 20. 3 years later he was champ. It's not that you can teach it yourself, it's just that you have to feel it out for yourself, (continues)

  • @DestroyerAlexandros Sorry but you don't know what you're talking about. Who do you train bjj under? Also, you're comparing a black belt to the highest level of tennis. You should be comparing mundial champions to tennis champions. Also, there are very few mundial champions that haven't been training their whole life...

  • @newerest1 Hey man I officially retract my comments about BJJ being less street effective than Judo and Sambo after seeing the Pride Backstage Brawl (on youtube) where Krazy Horse Charles Bennett jumps some guy and that guy effectively recovers and chokes him out with a triangle choke!

  • @newerest1 unlike more complex sports. For example tennis - you gotta start tennis when you're 6-8 and then play until you are 19-20 to be good enough to compete at the top level. And that's non-stop action, 8 hours a day, every day. Tennis is hardly instinctive, you have to retrain your body to be fit for the sport. BJJ is pretty complex but still think about it - how long do people need to achieve the highest level of BJJ - the black belt? Much less than a golfer needs to enter the World Tour.

  • this is gay

  • i need the song!!

  • any body now ths song!

  • k tema es de fondo xd como se llama?

  • It's a BIG risk going for a flying submission. They can pay off but more often than not they just make you look like a jerk and lose a fight!

  • I'm a white in tae Leon do. And i could take these guys out. I'm also a masterbaker and can make 10 scones in 5 seconds. No one fucks with me!

  • LOL this video has more views than the original upload that had been uploaded about a year before this one.

  • id like to c a flying omoplata

  • @gibson9821 Yeap..I was watching Fast Five the movie, and the main guy (i forgot the name) did an armbar on Dominic Toretto, and Dom just fucking power bombed him on concrete.

  • @B3nBo1194 im fine now luckily it took a Week to recover and get back grappling

  • @anthonyf117a good to here man, I dislocated my knee a week after getting my brown belt haha, 2 months and I still cannot walk lol, had a white belt in guard, he leant to much forward, and I was about to get into a darce position to spin off his hips to flip him over, and he didn't know how to react, and forced him self round where my foot got caught on his hip trapped by his kimono, then snap leg was basically in half haha :')

  • @B3nBo1194 ouch that sucks man hope you get well soon and get back to grappling

  • @anthonyf117a cheers man

  • Flying submissions make for some nice party tricks

  • jiu jitsu = fight on the tatame. On real life, if 2 guys attack you and you know only jiu jitsu, you get killed. Just don't try this on real life, only on fights with a judge.

  • not only timing. placement, staying tight, and a solid grip to jump up with

  • Why not slam? =it's forbidden in most of the grappling matches, although it is alllowed sometimes (rare). For beginners I'd say go for the guillotine.

  • They shootn'

    Thats two for glitchin

  • Jiu jitsu?,... I'm going to learn, Jiu Jitsu?...

  • or just use sambo, its destruction too

  • 70 people got caught by a flying submission.

  • don't need the crappy music :L just ruins it

  • Awesome

  • Very nice.

  • MUAY THAI TRAINING + BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU TRAINING = DESTRUCTION

  • BANG BANG

  • i wrestle and train in Gracie Jiu-jitsu and if ur looking for brute strength wrestling is the sport for u but if ur looking for a variety of moves and have tons of patience id recommend jiujitsu

  • @RIPJIMMYTHEREVa7x1 actually, wrestling takes a lot of skill and technique.... not much strength (altough strength does help)....... in my personal view, bjj is a very passive art, while wrestling is much more agressive.... also, i train in both bjj and wrestling, so im not a biased jerk like most a lot of people out there... both forms have their pros and cons....

  • @TheNameLessChannel1 yea thats true

  • @TheNameLessChannel1 They should go perfect together.. ground work wrestling to a submission, seen it work good in UFC. most of the fights go to the ground anyway. Nice basis.

  • There's a way to counter getting slammed even by a big guy, its called grabbing the back of his knee when he makes attempt... most of these submissions put weight on the neck, NOT the body arms, or legs, or anything else for that matter, unless your neck can hold up over 150 pounds, you WILL be brought down, and any good bjj fighter will know to grab the back of the knee (and even buckle it if possible) if someone attempts a slam in that position.

  • nigger music yuck

  • @MultiColbalt what? shut up dumbass

  • @dentrillsfrac1 lol chuck norris does Tang Soo Doo

  • @policeluigi that's exactly why you grab the leg so he can't stand up or at least not lift you up

  • I laugh to hard at people on here saying oh just pick him up and slam him... Really? Armbar your bicep against their whole body weight? Nah son. Triangle u lift them up and it's lights out mutha fucker haha u peeps who think u can do it go to a bjj gym and try it okay haha

  • Does anyone know how expensive it usually is to sign up for these classes? I've done Karate and Tae Kwon Do for over 10 years and I took a long break. Now i'm considering to learn either Muay Thai or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Anybody have any advice or suggestions? It'd be appreciated, thanks.

  • @GoodFellax21 classes can range from 60-150 a month from what i have seen i have never seen contracted payments at a BJJ school either also i really recommend you take BJJ you have all the standing fighting you need to defend yourself you probably need some ground training like me.

  • @GoodFellax21 i do muay thai and bjj in sussex and i pay £40 per month for bjj = 4x a week and muay thai i pay £5 per class please make sure you find a good school and happy training

  • @GoodFellax21 if you like to improve you're striking more, do muay thai, if you wanna do something new, diffrent, do BJJ... I'm doing judo for 10 years now and i wanna improve my grappling so i'm gonna start with BJJ too :P

  • BJJ is bullshit. it is ineffective if you compare it to any stand up styles such as muay thai and krav maga

  • @daaskapital1

Your comparing arts where striking is more focused, while BJJ is focused on joint locks, cranks, and submissions. Besides Krav Maga is more focused on just destroying your enemy as its the fighting style of the Israeli Commandos.

Saying Muay Thai is like comparing Boxing to Collegiate Wrestling. Completely different.

  • @MikeEsex Okay, i agree. However, using BJJ in a street fight is more risky

  • poor peasant brazillians fucks i feel ashamed that america would have to copy a style from posing brazillizans who actraully got their style from judo which is japanese.

  • i did this to my boss when he fired me !!!!

  • I would like to go and train !

  • Great video. Does most flying submission attempts end with the attackers head on the ground. I wouldnt use it outside of the sport. Stomp on the head man i think is sometimes possible...

  • penis. i´ll bet that u wouldn´t talk shit like u are doing here in front of a brazilian.Seriously bro , this asian guy is pissed off beacause brazilian dominates mma today.how come every brazilian jiu jitsu championship asians never won a match against a brazilian.so u guys might have invented jiu jitsu but we brazilian made it better. Maybe you are just pissed off that asian people is known for there small

  • @Igor71351 lmfao brazzilian? brazillizans r peansants ok? they r nothing more than slaves that i buy each 1 of them with a penny no hell....... ill get them for free. lmfao u do know that people in the ufc also practice muay thai right. and there has been no recent proof that bjj is dominating the mma world.

  • @amessenger4god78 The fact that EVERY succesful mma fighter trains BJJ is proof that it is dominating. Jake shields had a very long winning streak with little to no standup at all. Also I noticed you said BJJ copied judo. You are HALF right but that is Judo's fault. It became too much about sport and not enough about the true art. BJJ hasn't made this mistake just yet. There are more sporty variations, but it is still VERY effective on the street.

  • @johnedlin7 dude im sick of u dumbass that think the so call ed"UFC" is the main minate of mma sports ur wrong!? howmany people is in the ufc? not even 5,000 how many people is in the world 7 billion 4.5 billion just asia. u can't assume every succusful mma trains Bjj cuz that's just america! ur a true example of aan ignorant american and no matter what i say u will make shit up. that's the true example of an idiotic true ignorant american.

  • @amessenger4god78 Hell yeah, your the man thumbs up

  • @Igor71351 small sterotype only appiles to ignorants americans thinking that.

  • Seriously bro , this asian guy is pissed off beacause brazilian dominates mma today.how come every brazilian jiu jitsu championship asians never won a match against a brazilian.so u guys might have invented jiu jitsu but we brazilian made it better. Maybe you are just pissed off that asian people is known for there small penis. i´ll bet that u wouldn´t talk shit like u are doing here in front of a brazilian.

  • these guys are little monkeys!!!

  • a guy did this to me I lifted him up and dropped him on the ground... So do not do these moves if there is a chance that the guy may have the strengh to lift you up

  • I think it's time ta of Americans assume that

    Brazilians are the best fighters.

And do not you aguentama our pressure.

    Feel the pressure byby.

  • What is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu???

    This is Jiu Jitsu.

  • @ICHIBAAAN

Honestly, I don't see BJJ as viable in a defensive scenario vs multiple opponents

...cuz we all know street fights are always one on one...

Also, admittedly I am a BJJ novice, but with my 3rd Dan in Danzan-Ryu, I've yet to see a BJJ ground move that wasn't in my style

  • @ICHIBAAAN brazilian jiu jitsu is 0:00 to 2:52 :)

  • ทำไมใช้เข่าตีเข้าหัวละเวลาโดนล็อค

  • i recomend not to do these moves

  • @anthonyf117a if you have no experience, i agree... but if you can master them, they are amazing.

    its a hit or miss

you either use it and win, or use it, fail with it, and loose

  • @anthonyf117a

If you can catch your opponent in these why not?

  • @anthonyf117a why not?

  • @Chaosism123 because it takes timing and precision to pull off a well designed flying armbar or triangle, if mistimed, you cause yourself to be exposed to a guard pass or worse if not controlled you may land on the back of your head, but of course most people who do not know the technique or do know would be surplrised that you have done that move because it is about timing. hope this helped

  • @anthonyf117a why not?

  • @Nochibou1 because it takes timing and precision to pull off a well designed flying armbar or triangle, if mistimed, you cause yourself to be exposed to a guard pass or worse if not controlled you may land on the back of your head, but of course most people who do not know the technique or do know would be surplrised that you have done that move because it is about timing. hope this helped

  • @anthonyf117a why is that?

  • @MiKocwalk because it takes timing and precision to pull off a well designed flying armbar or triangle, if mistimed, you cause yourself to be exposed to a guard pass or worse if not controlled you may land on the back of your head, but of course most people who do not know the technique or do know would be surplrised and off guard that you have done that move because it is about timing. hope this helped

  • @B3nBo1194 i know what you mean now, off course, that u need to be perfectly prepared and have ideal timing

  • @anthonyf117a how did you hurt yourself?

  • @MiKocwalk i jumped got in to positing and the person i did it to did not get in to stance so i landed on my neck Even with my chin tucked in

  • @anthonyf117a i dont understand, so what exacly happend you broke something

  • @anthonyf117a ah damn man that is nasty, hope you recovered ok, and It happened to one of the guys in our academy, he went for a flyign armbar, boom good technique except he forgot to keep himself up, BANG landed in a odd angle on his shoulder and pop. I try this move on experience fighters but I don't use any flying techniques on beginners because they don't know to react and you and them can get hurt.

  • @anthonyf117a totally agree, sometimes the best ways are not always the coolest ways

  • @anthonyf117a Lol. but they are fun.

  • When Genki Sudo does it it's not like he's trying to do a flying sub, it just looks natural

  • This is not BJJ, this is a Submission wrestling

  • @napalm4574 which is basically bjj without a gi. same techniques

  • @napalm4574 it is bjj stupid.

  • @theregimelife dont ever try the slam. it does nothing but tighten the grip. the best way to not get submitted is to think several steps ahead of your opponent. play it slow and dont rush

  • @M4ch1neGunKelly slamming someone when your about to be submitted does nothing but tighten the grip your opponent has on you. its the natural instinct, but very rarely does it actually work, especially on the mat. You just have to relax and dont tense up.

  • GSP owned on the first xD

  • good video ruined by shitty music

  • The best flying submission was in Iron Man 2 when Scarlet Johannson did that whatever it was. Sure it is science fiction, cause it usually puts me at the mercy of someone when it misses. But it really looks cool. Like Uchi Mata, it works 1/100 of the time. But damn, it looks really cool when it does. Or tomoinagi....(stomach wheel). I have seen it in the movies 100's of times. But no one will co-operate in real life!

  • there has to be a counter technique for this move?

  • @TheRegimelife Yeah dude, if your uptop and he has you from the ground then you either grab his shirt from the chest and pick him up and slam his back hard on the ground. If he is shirtless, cup the armpit

  • @M4ch1neGunKelly Nice....thanks

  • @TheRegimelife try to counter grapple thats basicly all you can do

  • @asian714cali I wasn't talking about bro!

  • That dude that got pissed is obviously a bad sport. Mostly all people take a loss in BJJ gracefully that dude almost threw himself on the ground.

  • @CSQUAR3DsBaCk im not a bad sport..cuz i dont even do martial arts but i do know its history and im not one of those non-oriental wash oreintal either so im standin gfor what is right and true ..and gjj belongs to japan or its credit must be given to japan or maeda since the art of bjj/gjj is given to the gravcies by a japanese dude and it was maeda judo that got helios involve in it
