Your baseball program is NOT better. THe best player you had is that piece of shit Aaron Crow who wouldn't sign a contract last year and slipped in this years draft. Nebraska is a much better baseball program. And nobody on this thread gives a shit about basketball.
Also, lets not forget that Blaine Gabbert could easily be the next Josh Freeman. Missouri didn't redshirt Gabbert last year (despite the fact that he was a distant third on the depth chart) and because of his pro prospects he could easy leave after his junior year (like Freeman). So you get him for two years, one of which looks like a down year to begin with. I don't doubt Gabberts talent (would have loved if he had sticked with NU), but I do doubt the impact he will have on your program.

It still resulted in similar seasons. Your offense doesn't utilize Blaines best skill set (his strong arm). You offense is predecated around short timing routes, something Gabbert is not great at. Hes a better pro prospect than Cody but he probably wont have a better college career. Cody is also a lot faster (although I admit Blaine is underratedly athletic)

first of all, gabbert is 6'5". Second of all, Gabbert is a 5 star on rivals (4 star on scout) and Green is a 5 star on scout (4 star on rivals). So I am well within reason to think we got the better QB. Also, he just lead his team to the Texas 4A state title game. Gabbert played far inferior competition and put up inferrior numbers. Green is faster than Gabbert was and is more of a dual threat. As for this year, we have the 22 class on rivals and the 19 on scout and you dont have a top 25

Acedemics matters enough to keep your ONLY top recruit in last years class from going to your school. Thats right, your one good recruit was too stupid to go to Missouri. He must be really really stupid. Anyway, withough him your class is borderline top 50 in the country.

Yeah my point is that your school doesn't care enough about acedemics to look into top recruits grades. Nebraska is very careful about recuiting kids with low grades or ACT scores. Thats probably why they have more acedemic all americans than any other school. My main point is that for a program with such a "bright" future, not landing a single top recruit in last years class must be concerning. If you couldn't recuit when you were winning, you aren't going to do it in a down year.
Nebraska continues to recruit at a higher level than Missouri, which begs the question, "Was Missouri's dominance a fluke?". Unless you continue to turn up gems like Chase Daniel (and more importantly until you start to recruit on defense) the answer is probably yes. Achieving and maintaning success are very different things. It just so happens that is the difference between our two programs. I have no doubt you can win, but not consistently or on the highest level.
First of all, they have maintained success about as well as Missouri has over the last 9 years. Add to that the previous 35 years (where Nebraska didn't miss a bowl game) and you get a CONSISTENTLY DOMINANT program. Missouri has been fleetingly good. THey having even been fleetingly dominant (how many big 12 rings do you have again?). Maybe if you start to crank out 9 win season regularly it will be a difference story, but I've only seen 2 consistent years from your program.
I'm really curious if the Tigers can recruit QBs of Chase Daniel's caliber now. Chase only ended up in Columbia because he was undersized. I would feel bad for Missouri fans if they return to mediocrity again.
Also, Gabbert was too stuck up to redshirt so you will only get him for 3 years (only 2 if you think hes got really great pro potential). Less pro potential and the fact that Green says he would be happy to redshirt if needed means he could be in our system for 5 years. Finally here are the current ranks for recruiting classes on the two major sites:
Rivals: Nebraska- 22
Missouri- 27
Scout: Nebraska- 21
Missouri- 31

lol suh made mizzou lose a couple games this past season because of that injury but i wish people didnt underestimate mizzou in football and aspecially basketball. i also like the reciever jerrell jackson he really showed at the end of the year and it seems mizzou keeps of improving in many sports and have a good chance for a championship GO MIZZOU!

Without Suh for Nebraska, they're dead in the water, so is texas cause Colt was their main driving force even though he pretty much blows. But you gotta consider we did loose Danario and Sean Weatherspoon which are big blows but hey, with Blaine fully recovered, he's literally an NFL sized guy so he'll be fine!

He still has a long way to go, but has the skills to be a great QB. Needs to improve his decision making. Mizzou could have easily lost the game to BG, in short because his decision making. Luckily for Mizzou, Tyler Sheehan stunk late in the game and lost his ability to make good decisions.

WOW!!! YOure so good. I play for the Mid Atlantic Mets. Look it up they are one of the top teams in the country. I throw mid 80s and top out at 88 with a plus curveball. You couldn't touch my shit. Also, I was hearing from coaches at 13. Not based on numbers but on tools. Nobody cares about your numbers when youre 14, they mean nothing. Its about tools. If you had them then youd be hearing from a ton of schools. Also, if you were playing top level baseball and putting up those numbers youd also probably hear from some schools. I can only assume that either you have no projection or that you are playing shitty baseball if you haven't heard from anyone.

Also, lets not forget that Blaine Gabbert could easily be the next Josh Freeman. Missouri didn't redshirt Gabbert last year (despite the fact that he was a distant third on the depth chart) and because of his pro prospects he could easy leave after his junior year (like Freeman). So you get him for two years, one of which looks like a down year to begin with. I don't doubt Gabberts talent (would have loved if he had sticked with NU), but I do doubt the impact he will have on your program.

It still resulted in similar seasons. Now when Nebraska gets back on top that won't mean making it to the Big 12 championship by default (the way MIZZOU did it last year), it will mean competing for national titles.

Your offense doesn't utilize Blaines best skill set (his strong arm). You offense is predecated around short timing routes, something Gabbert is not great at. Hes a better pro prospect than Cody but he probably wont have a better college career. Cody is also a lot faster (although I admit Blaine is underratedly athletic)

first of all, gabbert is 6'5". Second of all, Gabbert is a 5 star on rivals (4 star on scout) and Green is a 5 star on scout (4 star on rivals). So I am well within reason to think we got the better QB. Also, he just lead his team to the Texas 4A state title game. Gabbert played far inferior competition and put up inferrior numbers. Green is faster than Gabbert was and is more of a dual threat. As for this year, we have the 22 class on rivals and the 19 on scout and you dont have a top 25

I love idiots like you who have no facts. First of all, they have comprable arm strengths (I will admit that Gabbert has better fundementals but it doesnt matter in college). Yeah Gabbert has better pro potential but Matt Stafford has more pro potential than Tim Tebow and I dont think any college coach would take Stafford over Tebow. Nebraska has more acedemic all americans than Missouri (they have the most in college football) and they graduate 94% of their players (also higher than MIZZOU)

Yeah my point is that your school doesn't care enough about acedemics to look into top recruits grades. Nebraska is very careful about recuiting kids with low grades or ACT scores. Thats probably why they have more acedemic all americans than any other school. My main point is that for a program with such a "bright" future, not landing a single top recruit in last years class must be concerning. If you couldn't recuit when you were winning, you aren't going to do it in a down year.

Nebraska continues to recruit at a higher level than Missouri, which begs the question, "Was Missouri's dominance a fluke?". Unless you continue to turn up gems like Chase Daniel (and more importantly until you start to recruit on defense) the answer is probably yes. Achieving and maintaning success are very different things. It just so happens that is the difference between our two programs. I have no doubt you can win, but not consistently or on the highest level.

First of all, they have maintained success about as well as Missouri has over the last 9 years. Add to that the previous 35 years (where Nebraska didn't miss a bowl game) and you get a CONSISTENTLY DOMINANT program. Missouri has been fleetingly good. THey having even been fleetingly dominant (how many big 12 rings do you have again?). Maybe if you start to crank out 9 win season regularly it will be a difference story, but I've only seen 2 consistent years from your program.

Also, Gabbert was too stuck up to redshirt so you will only get him for 3 years (only 2 if you think hes got really great pro potential). Less pro potential and the fact that Green says he would be happy to redshirt if needed means he could be in our system for 5 years. Finally here are the current ranks for recruiting classes on the two major sites:
Rivals: Nebraska- 22
Missouri- 27
Scout: Nebraska- 21
Missouri- 31

Yeah I mean I really dont dislike MIZZOU. I just don't like when their fans talk about how much better they are than Nebraska because they beat us 2 straight years. We beat you like 10 straight years at one point. That being said, I like Chase Daniel and I hope you continue to improve (obviously I hope we beat you though) and help resurect the Big 12 North.

ya i want the big 12 north on top as well and i am really going to miss chase daniel mizzou would not be wear it has been the last couple season without him heisman talk 1 win away from the national tittle we would not have done all that without him he will always be a god to all missouri fans he needs to go out on top with a win

even with all the prospects in the world Nebrask football will still remain mediocre.... Who cares. Mizzou normally doesn't get the top prospects like Nebraska does (because they do have a much better program historically). But we seem to tax that ass just fine with our Mizzou scraps.

class according to either site. So, we have a far better class this year. Sorry, I mean recruits realize that Nebraska has better acedemics, facilities, history, coaching and NFL opportunities. Its not that hard of a choice.

and no we have the better class you look it up on anysite and we havge better academics the average player has a 3.6 GPA we have the best facilities in the country and we have the better coaching to only thing you got on us is the history of your program

umm.... well early in the season yeah but we tied for our division title and if we played right now you might not be. Also, we have a better recruiting class than you do and we have a far superior tradition

Now Im not saying all Missouri fans suck or anything, but you can't say that because one person you know who went to Nebraska is a jerk that all nebraska fans are ass holes. Missouri products (fans) are just as bad if not worse than Nebraska ones.

classic0rocker- are you serious? I respect Missouri football and have no hard feelings towards their program, but people associated with mizzou are ass holes. I went with my family to columbia in 1997 (I was 6) to watch what turned into the infamous "kick catch" ending. I dont remember the game, but I remember walking out of the stadium afterwards when a mad missouri fan (like 30 years old) poured a beer on my head and yelled at me that Nebraska sucks.
