All I can tell you is the white kids at my school used to pick on black kids comparing them to the big lip lamp shade dude that mumbled all of his words. Guess you never watched "The Jeffersons", then...or "Good Times", or "What's Happenin'". Sanford and Son was just what type of store they owned: a scrap store. And Fat Albert?
