Even after Jason Todd died, he still took in another Robin knowing that it could very well happen again, and every one of them knows what could happen to them if they get invovled with his crusade.

@jordiejonny Batman deals with those issues all the time. The kids pretty much want to help him fight against crime, and even go on to do so without his supervision (like Nightwing). The best thing he can pretty much do is assist them so that they don't get in over their heads.

Take Dick Grayson for example. His parents were murdered by Tony Zucco. Now Bruce could have let him go after him and shoot him to death (or get killed on his own), or he could teach him how to work within the boundaries of the law (to an extent) and deal with it in a somewhat healthier way.
