some websites know if you are accessing from a mobile device, the dekstop feature is great as you don't get a stripped down access to the site, perfect app at a good price also the freedom to watch flash video on it is incredible works great on any device ipod, iphone or ipad

I have had Skyfire for  the past year on my samsung smart phone and I have yet to see any video. I could get it for maybe 6 second's top's before it quit. I hated Skyfire Maybe it is better on the Iphone but it wasn't even worth the time it took to download on my phone.

Skyfires great, but not all sites with Flash work with it. It's kind of hit and miss. The browsers pretty slick. Also, check out the 360 web browser which converts Flash movies from certain video sharing sites like Vimeo, Dailymotion, Google video, etc. It has tabbed browsing and a slick interface.

@transformerlover18 Hey. Hulu won't work with Skyfire, the 360 browser or even CLoudBrowse.  Hulu is able to tell if you're using a proxy server and prevent you from watching video. I tried to view Hulu using CloudBrowse on my iPhone but they block the content ---the bastards!

GAAH... That's still not real flash!! That is some mobile shit version of flash! I got the skyfire browser and sure it's pretty quick, but the flash is crappy.. Play the movies IN THE BROWSER when are they going to learn that? I'm just gonna stick with frash on my jailbroken iphone.

Skyfire is just Safari with slow and choppy video transcoding. I have no idea why people think Skyfire is a browser. It's just a media player.

Also, the Skyfire guys are liars. They are claiming that it converts to HTML5, which is a blatant lie.

iphone cannot view flash content, unless jbreak + imobilecinema plugin (via cydia), and even with this plugin not all videos can be loaded/played.

skyfire however compresses and loads the video a seperate window, not on the webpage itself. this ensures smooth playback.

im glad skyfire is coming to iOS platform :-)

@futrah Skyfire can't handle most videos, though. It only supports some big sites. They have to add the video handling manually for each site.

I'll stick with Safari instead of this crappy Skyfire Spyfire Spyware.
