  • I like you video.

  • where did u fine the plastic cover at

  • hey dumbass the top (certificate) is not a note...its a certificate know the difference quit posting false knowledge

  • Turn money into gold and gold into money at Gold Trading Academy. If you have spendable money, come trade gold! Come visit my website Gold Trading Academy.

  • I like star notes. United States notes are neat in that the star is at the beginning of the serial number. I have several $2 and $5 ones as well as a $100 note. You have a very nice collection here.

  • Very Good, Mr. Marlowe.

  • Nice, good on you for having a $500 and $1000. Hold onto those, as they're only becoming less common. Guess the holy grail would be the $5000 and $10000. Nice if you have about $100,000 to spend on them.

  • You should try and get the 5000 dollar bill and the 10000 dollar bill. Probably won't find them seeing how they got recalled in the early 1900's.

  • @KM100805 You can still pick up the $5K and the $10K, there's probably a few hundred still circulating around in collector circles. The problem is how cost prohibitive they are. You can get a decent condition $500/$1000 for probably a few thousand. The higher value notes get ridiculously expensive, the upper 5 figure territory.

  • very nice collection im a collector to but my old five dollar bill is not in any close condition that yours is in.

  • New Hundreds? They still dont know when there comin out. I made this video in 08. They were supposed to come out in Feb 2011 they have delayed it now. Who knows when.. I hope they do it soon because gold and silver will sky rocket. Nice collection...

  • HOLY SHIT SINCE WHEN DID THEY HAVE A 500 DOLLAR BILL AND A 1000 DOLLAR BILL i saw a 1000 dollar bill once before but thought it was a fake

  • @eagleking43 - These bills were made as late as series 1934-A, if I remember right (the $10,000 was the highest in general circulation, but $100,000 bills were made for internal Treasury use). In 1969, the Federal Reserve System decided that the $100 would be the largest bill in circulation, but some larger bills remain in the hands of collectors. If one was to be turned in at a bank today, it would be sent directly to the Federal Reserve Bank nearest that bank to be destroyed.

  • how much do you want for the $500 bill?

  • how much do you want for the $500 bill? i got cash money.

  • wow first time i ever seen a 1000 dollar note! thanks for sharing! now waiting to see ur whole collection! i just started a us currency collection and i find that these type of bills are worth more then my pay checks lol :(

  • HOLY!

  • I am a collector also ,the problem I am having is finding the old bills $5-$10-$20-$50's. Where did you go to purchase these bills at , In MINT CONDITION ? Online?or Private or....?

I have the $2 bill W/ 22kt GOLD on it, but I need more notes in mint cond.

Who / What / Where....... ? Please respond to this question, please.

  • Actually, the older notes are circulated and were pulled from circulation when the new designs were coming out.

  • @mrlaydback1 go to govmint.com

  • That's worth a lot of money...

  • I recall seeing a pbs show on tv about adding colors to the notes but the treasury guy was firm that it woud not happen because our notes were essentially counterfeit proof :) I read of ppl taking new fivers, washing the design off and putting a 20 design on it...paper is good so it can get thru...I think this can be eliminated as a prob if we printed notes of various sizes...the euro is an example...I think the polymer notes of Australia could well be the end to counterfeits...nice notes!

  • 5 foreigners dislike this vid

  • @rescobar1997 Most probably, I've used US Dollars, Ca Dollars, British Pound and Euros but I can still honestly say the US is the easiest money to work with

  • Very nice $1,000 Not very often you see someone with a 1k in as good of condition as yours is in!

    Cheers~

  • Go to a nice restaurant and pay with that $1000 dollar bill. Just say it's the smallest thing you have on you LOL

  • Got them from coins shows and coin shops.

  • @robmarlowe ur so lucky :P

  • aww crap, i spended my old 20$ bill on toys and i could have saved it to get a lot of money. well this is what happens when u don't care and just spend.

  • cool vid... i liked the 500's and the 1000's! :)

  • im supprissed to see you have a 500 and 1000 note and no red or blue serial 5 or 10s

  • Notes of value greater than $100 were not printed after 1945, however, they remained in active circulation until 1969 after which banks could accept them but not issue them. Banks still have to accept them, but they have to turn them in to the Federal Reserve.

  • I forgot to mention the $5,000 dollar bill.

  • Denominations ever made from the US: $1 bill $2 bill $5 bill $10 bill $20 bill $50 bill $100 bill $500 bill $1000 bill $10,000 bill & $100,000 bill
  • You forgot about the other type of note, the yellow seal used for North Africa.

  • @mabiniss2 If you care to look it up, I have a video with a North Africa note in it. My other video is about a different kind of note.

  • Are the 500 and the 1000 real just asking

  • they release the design of the new 100 today it looks pretty awesome. i looked at if pretty closely to notice all the detail

  • Oh my God! A 1000 and a 500 bill?!?!??!

  • For educational purposes.

  • For educational purposes.

  • Yes, The US made them until about the 1940's. Any note spend and returnd to the FED are destroyed.

  • I am collectin 2 dollar bills have about 12 so far my uncle has a silver/or blue one i think either that or probably a red

  • Man dude.

    Those are worth a lot.

Not only do you have a 1000 dollar bill but you have a 1917 bill.

Those are worth a lot nowadays.

  • 4:02 Those $20 bills are my favorite, i used to have 3, but i used one to got to theater to watch Saw 5, worst way to spend my money!! E

  • yeah i have a 500

  • you almost have 2000$ there but if sold them you could probably get like 200 $ bucks more nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • i would honestly just spend the 2 new bills. theres nothing special about them. you can find them in circualtion.

  • Wow you got a 500 and 1000 dollar notes. How did you acquire those and how much did you pay? Sweet collection.

  • I bought them years ago. You should check a price guide for current pricing. I did well.

  • Whats cool about amercian moneyis that no matter how old it is, or rare it its still worth what the dollor said it is.

  • awesom man

  • @Joesomebody114 Fuck u retarded dumbass

  • I work at subway and people spend some strange money there. I have a couple of those $1 silver certificates. Are they worth anything other than that dollar? I also have a penny that's bigger than other pennie. Benjamine Franklin half dollars in very good condition, and some foriegn coins.

  • nice money. where u live?

  • i love twenty dollar bills cause they really are money green lol

  • JoeSomebody...ur IQ may be 49 so I'll speakded in yo language..

axed du rushions how 2 fighted a war wiff NO MONEY ASS MONKEY!

  • very nice

  • Man those high denomination notes are beauties - very good shape. They probably cost you and arm and two legs.

  • where'd u get the 500 dollar bill

  • red seals meant that it was the 1000th print of the year

  • @bojangles465

Red Seals meant that they were United States Notes, not the "1000th print"...if it were the 100th print it would just show 1000 for the serial #.

  • @bojangles465 Wrong.

  • Actually, that is not true. A red seal means that the note was a "United States Note" and was only backed by the credit of the United States Government. Mind you, these notes were issued when other notes were backed by gold and silver.

  • technically they are either 'notes' or 'certificates.' They say it on the top (usually) of the 'bill'. Obviously nobody says "give me some $10 notes" but that's the official terminology.

  • in 6 months the FED (a privately owned banking system)will collapse and YOU WILL STILL OWE THE WORLD TRILLIONS

its gonna suck to be americans

  • how much did you spend for your 500 and 1000 cause they look like they're in really good condition. you should try to get the old 500 from 1918 with the finding of the mississippi on the back

  • he also needs to get the 5000 and 10000 and 100000 but it is illegal to own the 100000 but the 5000 is very hard to find, but u can find they 10000 on ebay. hahaha nice collection!!!!!!!!!

    - jacoblroark

  • the 5 and 10000 also go for over 100k dollars each and there are only 346 10000 bills left and 100 of them are on display in a casino making the price of each one even higher now too.

  • i have lots of star notes. i have 1 dollar silver and federal reserve, 2 dollar red and green seal, the old 5, the old 10, the old 20 and the brand new 20

  • crap i accidentally 1 starred

  • When I was young I saw a man in a home furnishing store counting out bills that looked like they had men at war on the backs of the notes... Was hoping to find out what those were.

  • well did you know on the back of an old fashend $100 dollar bill theres obama's war face.Whasington don't want know.

  • awesome .nicely done thank you

  • Has anyone noticed that the newest generation of Federal Reserve notes is following the EXACT same color scheme as Monopoly money?

    $5 - pink

    $10 - yellow

    $20 - green

    $50 - blue

  • ha ha. well done!

  • that's because that's how much they are worth. monopoly money! LOLOL

  • @OldsVistaCruiser

or the monopoly money was colored those colors on purpose of real money

  • @cool15915 - I don't know about whether the Monopoly money was colorized to distinguish it from genuine currency when it was introduced in the mid-1930s. It is a lot smaller than real U.S. currency.

Canadian paper money has had different colors for each denomination for many years, while the U.S. didn't start changing the colors of the money until the early 2000's.

  • The new $100 Federal Reserve note, due out on February 11, 2011, has a lot of gold in the color, keeping in step with the Monopoly $100 bill!

  • @OldsVistaCruiser Thats because the monetary system is a game.

  • @OldsVistaCruiser Why not? In a few years both forms of currency will be equal in value...

  • are all of these notes in circulation?

  • i just got my blue seal 1 dollar its been circulated not as good as yours but it was great grandpa's from 1935

  • I got a Canadian $10 misprinted replacement note.

    Can anyone estimate its value?

    Thanks!

  • it depends on the year

  • Comment removed

  • I have a colorized 5 in my wallet. One thing that always annoys me is the front borders are never centered right, theres too much gap on the right side.

  • Awesome video!

  • o nvrmind

  • what about the newe 5 with the big purple 5 on it?lol

  • I've always thought that the older notes always looked more beautiful than the newer ones. it like they got lazy or something, and just made it more simpler.

  • awesome video

  • isnt there a red seal five dollar note

  • Sry you showed the 500 $ note. IS there a Large 500$ note. I saw one in a restaurant It looked real. Is there a $ 10,000 note? is it usable?

  • Excusite collection. 5 Stars. BTW. Where do you get those cool plastic holders?

  • Thank you, you can get the currecy holders from any coin shop or coin show. Some larger book stores have them like Border Books in the hobby section. You can also get them from Whitman online.

  • Thanks man. Is there a 500$ note and a 10,000$ Note?

  • such an idiot

  • get rid of them all - trade them in for silver.... then do a collection video of your real wealth.

don't collect paper - where is the value?

  • thank's for the head up on the note's business!

  • you should ty to get the 5, 10 and 100 thousand sdollar notes

  • The 100,000 is illegal to own and I am too poor for the 5,000 and 10,000 notes.

  • why are the 100,000 illegal to own?

  • Because it was issued for the governmet, only to be used between banks. So to have one in your possesion means that someone broke the rules and stole one.

  • Because of it rareity and Its worth Billions and if in the hands of a Cavilian it could Pose a threat to the U.S currency status and that person could use it to take over the country because of its worth and as the true saying goes with money comes Power.

  • Wow you got quite a collection! I watched your other video with the Mercury dimes too. I got 2 that or UNC. but i got 4 of them all together. I got a question. When did they stop making the 1,000 dollar bills?

  • I'm not exactly sure when they stopped making the 500 and 1,000's. It was around the '30's and '40's. Since then any not that goes back to the Fed is destroyed.

  • 1969 they were discontinued

  • that is an awesome collection. out of curiosity how did you obtain the 500 and 1000 dollar bills?

  • I bought both of them at two seperate coin shows.

  • that is cool, but i guess they are not valid for use right? if they aren't they are still pretty cool to have.

  • Actually, any note ever made by the US Government is currently redeemable for all debts. It is up to a person to accept it. It would be stupid to redeem them though as their collector value far exceeds face value.

  • When a $500 or $1,000 gets turned in to a bank, it is sent back to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. The note is then cut in half and one half is sent to the Secret Service for verification and the serial number is added to the redeemed note list. The other half of the note is destroyed.

  • Are you sure? Those notes you're referring to are they the redeemable

silver and gold certificates of those respective denominations. Federal Reserve Notes of those denominations carry no substantiated ascertained redeemable values in granules nor gold/silver coinage. I remember as a kid in the 80's the banks would get $500 and $1000 notes and they would allow customers to purchase them. My sister was a bank teller for several years she got a few $1000 bills and never said that you stated..

  • You are correct in that Silver and Gold Certificates are no longer able to be exchanged for silver or gold. They still can be used as legal tender though. Any time a $500 or $1,000 gets returned to the bank, the bank is supposed to return it to the Fed. If a teller or someone at the bank exchanges it before it goes to the Fed then they teller has the note and the Fed can't destroy it. My mother was also a teller and saw $500's come into the bank but she never had enough money to buy them.

  • so the 500$ and 1000 are still usable or they on ly collectors notes?

  • Yes you can spend them or trade them in at a bank but it would be pretty stupid to do. A well worn $1,000 note one the collector market should bring at least $1,600.

  • I like your 1917 $1 horse blanket, your $500 bill, and $1000 bill. You should also point out that silver certificates allowed the bearer to redeem the face value of such a note in silver coinage AS WELL SILVER GRANULES. Are your $500 and $1000 bills dated 1934 correct? What series are they?? Signatures?? Grades?

  • You are correct about the redemption of silver.

Both of these notes are from 1934 and are uncirculated. Both were purchased around a decade ago. I'm not sure about the signatures or series but I do know the $1,000 is a better Chicago note.

  • Where did you get the plastic?

  • You can get the currecy holders from any coin shop or coin show. Some larger book stores have them like Border Books in the hobby section. You can also get them from Whitman online.

  • hey bro i came across a $5 red seal bill.i was wondering if it was worth anything.

  • its a 1963

  • Not sure of price. You could try to take it to a coin shop for a price. If the note has any folds or is a bit worn it will probably not have a grat value but it is worth saving and checking to see if you have a rare date/bank combination.

  • well it's real but it is all silver i have it in my video check it out! i also recieved a half cent, a 2 cent, and a 3 cent over christmas brake

  • het can you please respond to this where can i get those clear dollar bill bill covers

  • You should be able to get the currency holders at any coin shop, coin show, or major book store in the hobby section. If you can't find them anywhere, send me a message and I can provide an Internet link.

  • Also you for got the 5000,10000,and Hundred Thousand dollar bills.

  • Yes, I know. I can't afford them. The $5,000 and $10,000 notes sell for well more than 4 times their value. The $100,000 is illegal to own as they were only for bank transfers.

  • Actually, 100,000(or a higher nomination) note was illegal to owned by individuals back in the dates. But I am sure it can be obtained by individuals now. As I know, one of the casinos in Las Vegas has a high nomination note on a display. And which note was previously illegal to be obtained by individuals.

  • You Forgot about the red sealed 5,10,20,and 50

    Dollar Bills.

  • The 500 and 1000 dollar bills are so cool.

  • money is so sick.

  • does anyone know how much a sliver dollar bill is its a certificate dedicated to washington and it's all sliver

  • What do you mean by "all sliver"? Is the entire note in sliver color? If it is so, then I don't think the note is real. If you mean it is a sliver dollar certificate with a blue seal, then the price varies. Condition of a note makes the differences in pricing.

  • you should spend that

  • I started money collecting after I received a red seal 2 dollar bill as a change from a store. I bet somebody spent their money collection in a store. Thanks to that guy!

  • na, your monopoly money is wack.

either color code that shit or don't

multi colored money is stupid looking.

    man, on top of that...

all you have is federal reserve notes and like 3 other ones... big deal.

anyone can have federal reserve notes...

    they are everywhere....

  • Pretty cool, but you didn't really get into the difference between the old notes and new ones. The fact that they were once backed by silver and now are merely debt notes.

  • what did u pay for the $500 dollar note thats sweeet

  • u dont got $10,000 bill or $100,000 bill?

  • hey u got a cool collection.and the people that are saying rude comments "go screw yourself faggots" oh yeah i just just dat.

  • your collection is not complete?

what do you define "modern" as?

to me its 1900 and up

I have a 1950 10 dollar bill that is "pay to the bearer on demand in gold" on the front!

in fact all of them were at some point. so you are missing quite a FEW!

and I disagree, the new bills look gay!

the old ones are so much cooler looking.

they are just getting you (the public) used to shit that looks like euros, for when the dollar is useless and they make you use the "world bank" currency next... =(

  • lol, your just like a kid... my colored paper is much cooler than yours lol

  • they ought to release a zero dollar note with bush on it

  • they do have actual value. They all have face value if they are printed after 1961. They are more valuable as collectibles though because of their rarity.

  • These notes have zero value. In reality that is.

  • you sir, are retarded

  • No you're retarded

  • of course they would have value idiot

  • they have value in the sense that people will trade them for items or services, but they are not "backed" by anything, which makes this type of currency very volitile

  • Very nice collection.

  • i had a silver certificate but my mom didnt read o she accidentaly spent it.my dad might go to those rare coin, and dollar places and buy me one.that was his at first

  • i didn't know there was a 500 and 1000 note. nice collection!

  • That 1,000 is probably worth triple its face value,,, Its in great condition

  • thats tight where you think i can find those bills at i want a 1000 bill...i always knew they had one but i never seen 1 until now...i didnt think they made a 500 $ 1 though.

  • what are you serious is that a (real) 5oo $ bill & 1000 bill......
