Viva Glam Gaga is my favorite lipstick of all time. i love it so much that i have 3 of them. It really is wearable because its a lustre and you can build it up. it is a blue toned color and it makes it so pretty. honestly though it is a color is for people with light skin and light hair (which i have). thats just my opinion.

Viva Glam GaGa was my 3rd purchase at MAC. First was the Mineralized Eyeshadow in "Pink Split" and then the Viva Glam GaGa Lip glass. I absolutely adore the GaGa, and I'm hoping to save up and buy the Cyndi.
I love the Viva Glam Cyndi Lipstick but when I got it home I didn't think it looked that good but, I didn't have the heart to return it since it goes to such a great cause so I kept it. Im so glad I did because when the matching lipglass came out I picked it up and really makes the lipstick look a million times better on me! LOVE IT!

the lady gaga lipstick and NYX strawberry milk are EXACTLY the same. EXACTLY. put one on your top lip and one on your bottom and see if you can tell the difference. 2 dollar lipstick and a 14 dollar lipstick. one in the same

I suggest you to wear any shade you prefer, as long as YOU like it, just that you only need to apply a very light coat. There will definitely be a visible color there, but you should never make it heavy or thick. That's my thought.

I think that MAC should come up with a collection for women of color. Other than the shadows, the blushes and lipsticks really don't suit my beautiful carmel skin. The all sexes and races line didn't get it either(the attempt was lazy). The line would be a gold mine.
I think it is a more unique color for mac, and it is wearable for my light skin tone. I do like Gaga's but only with a smokey eye and a pink liner underneath to give it a boost more of color so it isn't so wash out on me.
Lady Gaga said in a recent magazine article that her lipstick was inspired by Pink Nouveau, and that her lipstick is basically a lighter version. I just hadn't heard you or anyone mention that, so I thought I would throw that out there for a possible color comparison.

I love these lipsticks, The cyndi one is gorgeous! I can never pull off red lips but this is perfect because its not quite red. I love the gaga one, usually I would never go for such a bright pink but because of the finish, it looks glossy which makes it a lot easier to pull off. Hopefully I dont look too ridiculous in it. lol

@zephyrhills21 You could always try layering a gloss on top, be it a shade deeper or maybe a color that's less pink. You could also apply a deeper shade of lipstick on top as well.

I went out on the day they released and got two of the gaga lipsticks. I LOVE my gaga and wear it almost every single day. So glad I got two because I knew it was constantly gonna be sold out. If you watch the interviews they do Gaga is so well put together and intelligent. But cyndi's color is gorgeous. Love both these ladies!

I have been wearing the Cyndi Lauper lipstick every day since I bought it! I love it and I have been getting so many compliments. Its nice to know my makeup addiction is going to a good cause:)

14 dollars?omg,Mac is so cheap in the US...if i should ever go there, i need to do some serious makeup-shopping:)
i just ordered my first mac lipstick,high tea.i wanted something really natural.i like the gaga one,but the color is just not for me.i started using mac products last year&i love it.i'd buy the viva glam lipsticks&a lot more other products too if mac would be as cheap here in germany as it is in the US.

Thanks for doing this! Your videos are very dependable and I always go to your channel if I'm looking into buying a new product. I actually just got both of these and I agree with you, Gaga just doesn't look good on me, much I wish it did. Do you know of any way I could make this more wearable? I don't want to return it if possible since it IS for charity...

@zephyrhills21 You could always try layering a gloss on top, be it a shade deeper or maybe a color that's less pink. You could also apply a deeper shade of lipstick on top as well.

I find the lustre finishes arent pigmented enough and I can see my natural lip colour showing through underneath...I still cant stop buying them though! :) xxx

I went out on the day they released and got two of the gaga lipsticks. I LOVE my gaga and wear it almost every single day. So glad I got two because I knew it was constantly gonna be sold out. If you watch the interviews they do Gaga is so well put together and intelligent. But cyndi's color is gorgeous. Love both these ladies!

I'm a huge fan of these ladies, GaGa especially, and have been anticipating these for a while. I ordered Cyndi a few days ago, and after seeing your review I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Red-coral shades are my absolute favorites to wear! I'm kind of skeptical about the GaGa color, though, because pinks like that really don't work well on me, sadly. :\
How does GaGa compare to Angel or Rose Romance? Is it brighter/pinker? I don't have Snob and I think those two are the best matches I have.

@wamouse Angel is definitely a softer baby pink and less milky than Gaga. I love Angel and find it very wearable unlike VG Gaga.

Lucky, I think the hopes in sending a product to a popular Youtube makeup guru, is to get the sales of that product up. So, hopefully this review sold a bunch of Viva Glam sticks :) I personally bought four of the Gaga ones, so I covered Irene's donation :)

I love the Viva Glam Gaga. It's such an amazing colour and actually looks fabulous on my light olive-yellow skin. It's such an every day colour.. well in my opinion because I always like looking done up on a regular basis. Great review I LOVE LUSTRES!! <3
