@roblox Just a technical question, but the water system as shown seems a little too simple. Are you taking the four corners, and applying a force upwards of the distance it's in? Wouldn't it be better to simulate ocean waves with sine/cosine? You should use more than four/six points, this may take a little more memory but can produce a good effect of buoyancy.

What about velocity? Say you drop something hard into the water, but its wood. Will it just stop in the water. Or will it go under for a while and float back up

Wow, awesome!

I love it when Roblox uploads these videos of new building content.

It seems the water is limited to Terrain and probably lacks current (A script must have been in the boat, because the destroyed bridge wasn't affected by any currents) but I'll imagine in the future that water can 1) be a movable body of water, 2) have currents if it is a static body of water, 3) allow players to dive underwater [and drown D:<], 4) have varied densities and colors and 5) even be lava!

How about new fluids like water. Lava, Slime, Toxic Waste, etc. All have effects to the player (like lava burns, slime makes u slower, toxic waste kills you).

Alright, this does look like it's going to be neat. It is going to cause a wider variety to levels because the Ropes and water are going to be used in multiple ways, I'm pretty sure. The one thing that I question though is the lag factor. What is that going to be like with these new features?

This is something beyond of what I thought ROBLOX could do. When I started ROBLOX somewhere in 2010, I thought of this as a simple game, but now I see it as a pretty cool game that should have more players than what we have now, because you can do almost ANYTHING in ROBLOX. (I still wish Mesh's were viewable by other players though...but its fine, I can understand why.)
