Now this is the kind of death metal I can actually enjoy because it's not the lead singer, it's more mixed in with normal metal vocals. Plus it goes with the title, the demonizing sound fits, as long as there are regular vocals to tell the story. Do you see what I mean? :-)

Wow, a new metal band that doesn't use that shitty gutter growl,thought he was gonna let one loose at 2.15 and 3.50,but thankfully the singer relied on his talented voice instead of copping out. Please don't post about how hard it is to "sing" like that, I'm not buying it,sounds like shit no matter how fast you drum or play guitar. Hope these guys are gonna be big,good luck,sounds good to me!!

@chickeneggs4u I think you chuck growls in correctly, or as a counterpart to a vocal line it works. Check out Into Eternity to see what I mean. But too many people rely on subpar growling too... where it's strangled

i feel the iced earth sound especially in the bridge part, but i really have to say athorn is great. Saw them in Irish pub in coburg, where i instinclty bought the demo cd.

I'm not feeling the Iced Earth vibe for whatever reason. It doesn't have the signature Schaffer riffing, and of the IE singers, I guess this dude sounds the most like Ripper when he uses his lower registers, but still, my mind wouldn't immediately jump to IE when i hear this. Damn good song, though. I hope these guys find the success they deserve.
