If you open up your character map on your computer you will find many in different fonts. Hope that helps you some! :)

the best way, for most people, to make money on SL is to work in the real world and just buy Linden dollars.

You can go big time and try commerce or open a club, resort or something similar.

If you just want some pocket money you can work as a dancer, bouncer, model. although you will need a good looking avatar, and this might cost a few bucks.
