  • " But there was never a tank in ww2 that could destroy a King Tiger at any range"

IS-2 could. Form 600 meters to front armor.

  • Its an IS heavy tank, Isof Stalin. RUssian

  • well yes and no, when the tiger 1 was used they had fuel and it was the most feared and well known tank of the war. And when they were designing the tiger 2 they had fuel, and the jagdtiger was an after thought, and it was a TD, they only built a few, and The king tigers may have seemed like a waste, one group of 45 of them was lost after a few days, mostly due to lack of fuel. They may sound bad, till you factor in that same group killed over 456 allied tanks.

  • Yeah but the germans had disadvantages to, like the tiger I could only fire when it stopped, and had the heaviest tanks in the war because they ignored the russians slanted-armor design. And funny, they where working with the Russians before the war started! And they also wasted money on big machine projects, and took almost all the food from civilians and gave it to the soldiers, which caused them to greet the U.S. and British forces when they liberated the towns. In short, Hitler f***ed it up

  • no JS. IS 2 Iosif Stalin.

  • Ive heard it so many times- the germans were geniuses at design and engineering, they had the best tanks blah blah, the russians only won by dumb brute strength and numbers blah blah. Well, sorry but intellect includes optimizing available economic and physical resources and understanding the quality vs quantity tradeoff. The russians did this well, the germans did this really poorly. It's the difference between strategy vs tactics...tactics wins battles, strategy wins wars.

  • !)

  • dude thats badass!!!!!!!

  • epic.

  • @83ls Haha hey your comment is completely pathetic. How is a heavy tank supposed to be racist? *implying* that tiger tanks are racis. LoL :) Actually they built this to destroy allied tanks, they didn't build a machine to be racist to people. The front armor of IS-2's turret was only 100mm thick. mantlet is only the gun shield. but the front was only 100mm trhick anyway and this could be pierced by 75mm APCBC at 2,000m distance. APCBC is not HE you dumbass it is Armour Piercing Capped round.

  • @tanker1408 For starters, the largest amount of Armor on the JS2 was 132mm, at the Mantlet, so 100mm is probably right for the Glacis plate. Anyway, German tanks were way superior in quality, as in the higher velocity 75mm gun on the Panther at range could penetrate more armor, but the JS2 wins by being way more reliable. I've seen these tanks with super low hanging or even damaged track and road wheels that a Panzerkampfwagen would never take, as with Russian design, never designed for the crew

  • @tanker1408 It was a big mistake by the germans to build those heavy, slow, unreliable dinosaurius, and that was one reason why they lost the war! Much smarter to build tanks as T34...

  • @83ls the Is-2 did NOWERE have 160mm of armor are you serious?! that's ridiculous. It didn't. i know you got this information from Wikipedia but this is only related to the IS-3. Even the latest version 'IS-2M' had only 120mm maximum armor on the front glacis. Also the Tiger did NOT have 120mm armor anywhere this is just another bullcrap from Wikipedia. the Tiger's thickest armoured part was it 100mm mantled.

  • @83ls Hahahahaha no. If anything at all YOU, sir, got totally butthurt brainwashed by Soviet bullcrap nonsense propaganda on sites like battlefield.ru wich used faked / photoshopped pictures to spread their propaganda around the internet. Get your facts straight! The 7,5cm L/70 can penetrate 133 mm of 30 degrees sloped armor at 900m range this is enough to rip the IS-2 apart at any angle. And when using the rare APCR it could destory IS-2 frontally at 1,500m range HAHA.

  • @tanker1408 Sry i didnt mean you, i meant the other guy.

  • @tanker1408 You are brainwashed with nazi bullcrap nonsense propaganda..a SU100 could kill a Panther from a distance of 1500m easily! In fact it could kill any german tank!

  • @nurmiar yes maybe in the rear. But there was never a tank in ww2 that could destroy a King Tiger at any range. ((im referring to the front armor of course.)) And the panther was also tough to destroy at combat ranges through the front armor. The Su-100 was a good td, but still could not harm the KT. The kt was not as un reliable as most people thought, most just ran out of fuel due to shortages, and were abandoned. And the mechanical failures of most German tanks -continued-

  • @spirit774 Maybe the enemy dont shoot at the front armour always..maybe they shoot at the weakest points ...

  • @nurmiar The Main reason for German tank failure, was not due to poor design, but to having the best design, witch the poorly trained workers could not build at any speed, nor very well.

  • @spirit774 It was rather stupid of the germans to build those heavy tanks...Tiger 1, Tiger 2 , Jagdtiger... Because the germans did not have enough metals or fuel...It had been much smarter to build only Panthers , Jagdpanthers and skip the heavy tank programs

  • And the King Tiger was allroud better then IS-2. King Tiger went down, because germans had no ressouces and time to repait them, the supply line was a disaster.

  • @Ixtzalit The King Tiger could breakdown any second..not reliable at all...the Jagdtiger was also very unreliable, could breakdown anytime!

  • @83ls Even if the IS-2 was a little bit more powerful than the Tiger I and Panther it still wasn't invincible. The Panther could destroy the IS-2 frontally at still 1,100m range, only by using the regular APCBC ammunition. And no, the Tiger 2 was not a counter to the IS-2 since it was already developed BEFORE the IS-2 was employed by the Soviet Army. The Tiger II was just an enlarged version of the old Tiger I so it could carry the new 8,8cm kwk34 gun, which the old Tiger I couldn't.

  • @tanker1408 It wasnt more powerful. It had very low firerate and worse accuracy, the armor penetration wasnt that great. I meant IS-2 and Panther. The tank was perfect against bunkers, but it was that great against enemy tanks

  • Comment removed

  • @MrBazzat11 The IS-2 was equal to the Tiger I and Panther, true. But it was still inferior to the Tiger II. The King Tiger was superior to even the IS-3 since it used the same guna s the IS-2. No wonder though, the IS-2 was not intended to match the King Tiger, it was only intended to match up with the Tiger I and panther and it was very successful at this.

  • Jagdpatnher in the background is much more better !

  • the gun of the JS-2 still could not penetrate the king tiger armor

  • this is bullshit.

all types of T 34 were MEDIUM tanks.

  • wow! really nice stuff, with the proper back ground I'd mistake it for a real tank

  • amazing ¡¡ thanks for showed it

  • cool JS2, but the Jagdpanther in the beackground is cooler!!!

  • i thought it was a T-34 heavy russian tank

  • to a1exander123:

    T-34 is medium tank.

There is a model of heavy JS-2 in this video.

  • excuse me t-34 is not a heavy tank only medium tank

  • Awesome... I love the gas powered replicas so much more than the regular electric.

  • that is electric.

  • FUCK! those things are huge, how much would they be?:D

  • one word, EXPENSIVE. a new 1/6th model, your looking at 3-4 k. have a look at my panther

  • no,no it is for Motherland

  • no-no it is for Motherland

  • i'm sorry for my mistake:) It's "ИС-2" (IS-2) Yes! :) Title on tank "ЗА РОДИНУ-МАТЬ" analogy "For Mother and Country"

  • It is hard soviet tank Klim Voroshilov (KV-85) (Клим Ворошилов (КВ-85))

  • The King Tiger performed very well against Allied and Soviet tanks. Defensively, IS-2 was unable to penetrate the front even at point blank and the M26 Pershing and IS-2 had to come within 1300 m and 200 m respectively.

  • OK enough ppl said it! its a IS-2 and not a T34 so please change the name of the video (to the maker)... A major weakness was the two-part ammunition, which slowed the rate of fire considerably. A second weakness was the very limited ammunition supply of only 28 rounds. This was the price paid by the small size of the design.

  • Also used by North-Vietnam army in Vietnamwar

  • ИС-2 (Иосиф Сталин-2)

  • sorry to tell you that it's sovient IS-2

One of the powerful tank in WW2

  • no! this is soviet heavy tank KV-2 (Klement Voroshilov-2)

  • KV-2 had a "more square" turret, thats an IS-2

  • That is the Is 2 818 is right.

The IS I had the 85mm KwK and the ISII had the 122mm KwK which is shown here.

The KW II was a total different thing and was built ´with a 152mm Howitzer which was only 1,62m long.

  • sounds really meaty..what powers them?

  • a 2 stroke lawn morer engine

  • Yeah thats not a t-34 thats a IS 2 Heavy Tank!!

  • Or rather T-44...

  • Even though it has already been said. Thats an IS-2 model tank. Very cool though.

  • Wow, that's C00L.. RC-Tank's. *Want's too* (O_o)__b

  • omg that is awesome and all the other tanks

    i like the jagdpanther :)

    but most just panzergrey

    they should have dif colors

  • Yes, that's IS 2 (Stalin Tank) and it's very good...

  • Yeah definetly an IS 2 (Stalin Tank) Nice model though.

  • no no this is not a T-34, ist IS-2(Josif Stalin 2)

  • I have one similar..1/6 th scale and weighs about 40kg.

wow I should put a camera inside it and then start too take over the world..
