theres one of these in my neighborhood

i think my white 2000 t/a looks nicer but thats just me

i plan on doing a white with blue trimmed theme throughout the car

im getting new cats, the 80 series muffler from flow master and new tips done tomorrow

i plan on a new air lid and cams so my car will sound its best and loudest

@xyzdorky66 dont get flowmasters... they choke your motor. if your that into the sound of flows, but want better performance, i suggest an SLP loudmouth 1 muffler. great trebly sound like flows, but better performance gain.

@need2speed94 the loud mouth is just a resonator, not a actual muffler, and honestly if i was worried about the motor being choked id just go straight pipe, my car sounds much meaner and louder with the new muffler, and the new cats have fixed my engine from bogging, i never felt my car before the new mufler or after so i couldnt tell you if it chokes it, shes fast for now, and i have a lot of plans for her in the future

@need2speed94 well with the ls1 i want to cam her and put headers on her, maybe a turbo,

but when that motor dies, im dropping a cammed ls3 twin turbo, new tranny and diff, and hopefully be getting 800hp on conservative boost

@xyzdorky66 GO WITH A TURBO! im glad that more domestic car guys are using turbos now instead of blowers... theyre much better. but if your gonna go with a turbo, wait on the cam/headers. the turbo kit will likely have turbo headers and you'll need a correct cam for boost. make sure you go with forged internals if you wana go 15+psi. you should keep your build up to date on youtube so everyone can see... good luck man!

@need2speed94 all my friends are like procharge it, and im like wait, procharger is gonna get me to what 500hp, pffttttttttt, the turbos gonna be alot better, i want the ls3 cause it handles boost alot better.

im think im gonna go with two smaller turbos, so that i can spool them up easier and have that power instantly,

or do 1 small and 1 medium, for the higher rpms haha

i wanna spend about 6k on her till the ls3

"ohh its intant boost no lag". well thats great, you'll get ahead of my turbo car for about 1 long second before i blow past you and make you realize you wasted money hah. blowers take power to make power. and yea LS3s are iron blocks right? great motors. i think the 1 smaller turbo w/ a medium turbo would be better

@need2speed94 i think that theyre aluminum but im prolly wrong, theyre the same block thats in the ls9, so it is good for boost, my friends 2000 s4 has the v6 twin turbo, and that thing is a wee faster then my trans am, because its a v6 theyres no where near the lag thats in a 4 cylinder, so it pickes up torque instantly, i can only imagine what thatd do for my v8, also turbos have a lot more room to improve then superchargers, for about the same price

Probably the best looking muscle car ever made. I just installed flowmasters in my 1997 Trans Am today, and it sounds spectacular

@puranger52 if you can afford it, go with borla. best power gains and my god it sounds beautiful when your up at 6k RPM. its an unbelievable exhaust note. and when your idling, its not the loudest most annoying thing. its just right so that it sounds badass but you wont get any dirty looks hah.
