  • Brilliant idea!

  • You know, the Star Trek opening narration sounds better with the Lost In Space music in the background

  • I guess this is the only format that fans of sci fi sixties will get to see new images and stories from their favorites, whenever they do a remake its always so distorted and altered to make adjustments for an imaginary "new" audience. there's a new " PLANET OF THE APES", GOD HELP US..

  • My complements on your animations. I must admit that I never considered the Lost in Space/Star Trek crossover, but it works rather well. Alternate Earths???

Nice to see an idea that hasn't been beaten to death and pretty good animation to back it up.

I see that you uploaded this in 2009, and your description states that you may go back to it at some point. I look forward to seeing it when your finished.

    Have a great one!

  • @jaspr1999 Thanks for the kind words. I have switched to 3d modeling and animation for all my work instead of the animated photos this was done with. Right now, I am working on some shots of the original Enterprise and the Jupiter 2 in 3d. Content won't be much more than what's here. Hope to have it up soon. Thanks again for watching.

  • Lost in Space RULES! Star Trek fans drool!

  • @HYDROLITO. Everything you said about star trek is WRONG!!! Sorry. I won't explain why, cos I just don't have the wherewithal. I'll leave you to find out why, like you should have done in the first place! Lol

  • Considering they only used the force field when they were on a planet and got hit by meteors when traveling in space, I doubt they could take a phaser or photon torpedo hit of course photon torpedo always looked slow so might avoid it, hand phaser was avoided by fastman in one episode which also did not make sense so maybe they could avoid both. They got warp drive but weapons are so slow why is that? They had money for propulsion research but not for defense research I guess?

  • Perdidos en el Espacio y Viaje a las Estrelllas, ambas series excelentes.

  • Here now is the Jupiter II, the culmination of nearly 40 years of intensive research and the most sophisticated piece of hardware yet devised by the mind of man. Bold in concept, brilliant in execution, this most delicate yet most colossal of instruments, makes possible man's deep thrust into space.

  • J-2 looked like it was familiarizing itself w/ the enterprise at the end of the clip just like two dog do when they meet on the street. LOL.

  • You have successfully illustrated, in a nutshell, the primary difference between the two shows. The Enterprise looked like it was created by George Lucas while the Jupiter 2 looked like it was created by Ed Wood. Essentially a floating wok with a peek-a-boo window in the lid. I realize that it was only designed to house seven people and a robot (as opposed to 350) but while CBS might have been getting better ratings, NBC was clearly much more technologically advanced.

  • @IDLERACER Haha! "Ed Wood!" That's a classic !

  • @IDLERACER Jupiter 2 was in space in 1998 and Star Trek was hundreds of years later. Hundreds of years later and their communicators look almost like cell phones wow how advance. Warp drive technology came from the Romulans. Transporter beam don't actually teleport but replaced original with a copy as was seen in episodes with 2 Kirks, 2 Rikers & merging of Nelex and Tuvok. Dr. Mccoy says have atoms scattered throughtout the universe, No one in right mind would want to us that.

  • @hydrolito I have always felt that when you stepped into a transporter you CEASED TO EXIST (i.e. DIE) and a duplicate with you memories is created. Thus each duplicate dies when they use the transporter again.

I'll stick to shuttle crafts!! LOL

  • That would have made such a Cool Movie!..............Better than the Lost in Space movie anyday!

  • hmmm Data vs. B9..

  • Cool.... to thumbs-up ... LM

  • I think it would be more realistic if the J-2 was found in the Delta Quadrant by the U.S.S. Voyager with everyone in cryo-freeze. It would be like when they found Emilia Eirhert . or when they found the Mars ship..

  • id watch this show. Wonder if the Jupiter 2 could take a photon torpedo?

  • Terrific!

  • Nicely done. Keep it up.
