例えば、ハデな豹柄の服装で陽気なおばちゃんが登場するケースが­ありますが、大阪にはそれ専用の事務所があり、服装などもコーデ­ィネートしています。

また、そういう番組に出演した人が、近所の住民のヒンシュクを買­ってしまうという悲劇が起こったことがあります。

I love Kansai and in particular Osaka, I've been there for at least 9 months and I was the happiest person in this world. I will come back soon for another 留学の経験 but I must admit that Osaka haven't got so many attractions as Tokyo or other big cities in Japan...but its people, its society is so colorful an cheerful that you start to feel like they should be an example on how all the world's communites should work.

hmm .. actually its just like a stereotype thing that they have towards each other, i know it because my mom is japanese and she is from kansai region, actually there are lots of friendly people in tokyo, although i dont live in Japan ( i would go there for like only 2-3 weeks )

This show is not about how friendly people are, but rather, how people handle silly, lame jokes or pranks.

They probably picked up most contrasting examples. But still, these are typical reactions you'd get from Osaka people, I'd say, downtown Osaka Minami (South) people, who are very open, wild & willing to try silly things (like diving into Dotombori River). Crowds in Osaka Kita (North) or its suburbs would be a bit more quiet & conservative.
